its def a lot about technique, performance but mainly perfecting the technical side of ballet

let them join any other dance company but please do not perform like that and even try to compare it to the correct technique

Kid in my kids school is a boy and has a younger brother. They both like wearing dresses, also to school. My kid is now confused as to whether the younger one is a boy or a girl. ‘But he’s wearing a dress’. Had a small chat about how a boy wearing a dress is still a boy.

I’m so on the fence about this. On one hand I think teens should be learning that not every body has a body like a porn star/pop star/actor. On the other I’m not sure you have to have actual naked bodies to demonstrate body positivity.
Normalizing strange adults being naked in front of kids is grooming. Pictures are different, everyone knows that. Seeing pictures of different naked bodies does not lessen the instinct of kids to run from the flasher, they can perceive the threat from the real person.

It certainly is in Austria. My Son and I stayed in a posh hotel and it only had 1 unisex changing room with no cubicles. TBH It didn't bother me that much as I didn't know anyone and I was never going to see them again.
We're naturists. I used to go to naturist places when I was a kid, stopped as a teenager, and started again in my late 20s.
Nudity depends on context. Naturism is not sexual. It's just people doing regular ordinary things like swimming or sunbathing in the nude.
My experience of being exposed to strangers' naked bodies in an unsexualised context did not prevent me from feeling uncomfortable with, and getting away from, some dude who flashed his dick at me in a train when I was 12.
On the contrary, I feel it made me more comfortable with non-sexual nudity, and more attuned to when something is "off".
Having said that, I don't think children or young teenagers benefit from being exposed to strangers' naked bodies as part of a TV show.

This show is bleeping appalling though.
A contestant stands in front of a line up of headless naked bodies and is asked to comment on which "vagina" they find attractive (never mind the fact they're looking at a vulva FFS) and you'll invariably see that hair isn't allowed, and nor is visible labia. I don't think it normalises anything other than the same old ridicule of bodies that don't fit a pornified ideal.
