Saw that and I’m gutted - I was just about to buy more
I wondered how long it would take for them to jump onboard.. 😔

Surprised "&sisters" haven't changed their brand to "&sisters&brothers" or cis&sisters they believe 'not all people who menstruate are women'.

Do they screen the blood donations for HIV, etc ?
The UK Blood Service tests for HIV, Hep B, Hep C, Help E, Syphilis and human T-lymphotropic virus, and sometimes additional tests such as for malaria (which I'm assuming will be if you're assessed to be at high risk).

In Albania, women who don’t accept the patriarchal rules become men. It’s basically what TRAs want.

I wonder what his goal is and who it is he’s trying to attract with his wee fairy lights, animal handbag and mean girls poster? This creep should never be allowed within 100 feet of female only spaces or schools.
Literally!! I really wanna know his end goal.. I get big creepy vibes from this guy.

That website is heartbreaking. This testimonial is so damning

Just saw Milli Hill post about this book, which has been nominated for Waterstones children’s book of the year. ‘Welcome to St Hell’ which is a trans comic book, about a girl called Lois who now identifies as a man called Lewis.

You can preview some of it, from the snippet I can see it’s basically about a girl who didn’t conform to ‘ideals’ and so must be a boy. I’m imagining surgery and hormones come later
Oh - *googles Lewis Hancox* has all the surgery and then dresses up as and mocks women - nice. Also very unfunny.

Got about 10% left in my book and the twist just revealed itself. The "man" they were looking for for multiple murders is actually an intersex man (his mum when pregnant was told she was having twin girls and when he was born he had a penis and a womb and decision made to operate and socialise him as a boy - born in 80s and it does state this wouldn't happen now) he has dissociative personality disorder who is living as a woman and it's the woman who is driving the killings.

Haven't finished yet but once I have it will be interesting to see if the reviews call the author a transphobe or not, bearing in mind one of JKRs books was flooded with 1 star reviews for having a character that was a man in a dress (even though it was such a tiny part). However I expect the abuse is reserved for JKR.

It’s tiktok language - lots of words get flagged and taken down so mascara wand is some sort of tiktok code for penis
I am too old to understand all this, why would a transgender woman who is a lesbian (a man) be talking about a
penis?

Sorry for crap formatting, the Samsung glitch still prevails.

I disagree. The article is written in a 'panic' type fashion. The bit in bold is weird:

This change would allow a homosexual or bisexual male to present at the clinic and self-describe himself as “female” or “trans” and be exempted from the 3-month deferral typically associated with males who actively engage in sexual activity with other males. This may pose a risk to both the Red Cross staff, the donor, and the viability of blood donations.

Why would the Red Cross staff be at risk if a sexually active gay man presented himself at a donor centre?! It's like they think any gay man who's had sex in the last 3 months is diseased and that the disease can jump from the person to the staff at the donor centre through the air!

I don't want to derail*, and I get the risk being outlined to the blood, but saying donor staff are at risk and the salacious reporting is shitty. In my opinion. I just have to call out homophobia when I see it.
(*I might resurrect the LGB thread 😃)
Presumably because there is always the risk of accidental blood transfer to the staff whilst inserting needles etc. Assuming also that any risk is less after 3 months. Contaminated blood kills.

More and more coming out about this evil prick every day. Sturgeon should go, but she won’t.

Douglas Ross is a bit of a wet lettuce but he’s been spot on re Adam Graham. I won’t call him she or his made up female name.
Not being Scottish I don't know Douglas Ross but in this case he was absolutely spot on and put his case across very well but of course Nicola Sturgeon just would not answer his question .

FFS She'll call it a rapist but not a man. Newsflash Nicola, only men can be rapists ergo HE'S a fucking Man
Maybe she's not aware of that fact 🤔

Does anyone think that the police and media are keeping quiet about the 53 year old man Andrew/Amy arrested in connection to that little girls disappearance because of the cross dressing thing? I feel like it’s been rather low profile and it’s making me suspicious about the whole thing. The good thing is they did report him as a man. But I’d be interested to see what information they give on this guy. And what he’s been arrested for and if found guilty, where he will go.
Yes, very odd story. Some news reports say he is a trans woman but it seems to me that he is a cross dresser.

He seems like a wrong'un. But the media seem hesitant to report the details... And I think the details are relevant and needed.

Not sure if Reduxx links work but I'll try anyway, some details in the article below. Edit: sorry, just noticed @Cocobaby09 already posted the link x

I seem to remember that there was some research done at some point for the IOC (I think) into trans women advantage. Based on a small sample size, including the author of the study. I think all the subjects were over 50. So apart from the probable outcome that it was a biased study and the subjects didn’t try very hard, age would have been a factor in reducing capability. This single piece of ‘evidence’ is what sporting governing bodies used to shape policy.

From googling I *think* this is the study, but I’m not awake enough to properly understand it. I can’t see a reference to the age of the subjects so it might not be the right one. https://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/docum...&doi=70d8ffb81f6c24461fa7972d527cd48511a9d19d

And this is an article that references another bit of research that I might be mixing my memories up with. https://www.science.org/content/art...nsitions-alter-athletic-performance-including
