My colleague inadvertently helped me convert another colleagues to a critic of gender ideology yesterday 😄

I can’t remember how it came about but the conversation was about how boys as young as 4 are “transitioning” and wear dresses and times have changed parents are being more open minded etc etc 🥴 I didn’t want to go full TERF at work, so I just made a comment along the lines of finding it a little bit regressive that if you dress up you must be a girl.

Colleague A then said “oh it’s a lot more serious than that when they get older, they have to live as a woman for two years before they transition properly into a woman” so I said, “what does that mean? Living as a woman” and she said “there’s not a real definition but I suppose they grow their hair, wear padded bras etc” 🥴🥴🥴and I honestly could see my the penny drop with Colleague B. So I said “but in my eyes, if I cut my hair off and had a mastectomy I wouldn’t become a man” and Colleague B said “I’ve never thought of it like that, you’re right it’s all just based around stereotypes when you think about it isn’t it”

One at a time 😄 I was pretty pleased tbh once you start to explain it it becomes so obvious…

As if Labour aren't already unelectable (I say this as a lifelong Labour voter).

Why are they so scared of women organising without them? We can literally have nothing of our own. Between calling the likes of Women's Place transphobic and pushing for self-ID, they want to eradicate female-only spaces. It's such bleeping unfettered male arrogance.

Does anyone take the time to sit down and watch detransition videos? It’s probably some of the saddest things you could watch.
Seeing someone who fell for the gender cult while mentally vulnerable now has ruined their body, mind and life.

This is harrowing. Absolutely heartbreaking. These young women are traumatised.

I was diagnosed with complex-PTSD several years ago during a breakdown of sorts, and the way I felt about myself was exactly as discribed here - totally detached from and alienated from my body, and I would have done pretty much anything to not be in so much psychological pain - and what happened to me is *nowhere* near what this poor girl has been through.

Its hard to make peace with the decisions we've made at the best of times - I can't imagine having to live with the consequences of that bleeping barbaric surgery. The surgeons need bleeping locking up. There is nothing ethical about that whatsoever. There's a lot to answer for here, it's a scandal.

It’s hard to imagine that level of deep regret and anger/sadness. Your body is just a constant reminder. It’s all horrifying but for me the thought of a voluntary hysterectomy at a young age when it’s not because of cancer or endometriosis is just unfathomable. Maybe it’s the mum in me and having had fertility issues. I just can’t get my head around that.

It’s people like her that the ultra woke celeb mob just choose to completely ignore. Always banging on about every cause under the sun, every injustice. But not detransistioners, no. They can rot in hell for all they care. Can’t see Jameela Jamil or the like ever putting a spotlight on women like this. A true reflection of how performative trans ‘allyship’ is. Just unquestioning support and affirmation, and screw the rest.

The thing no one seems to consider is the health consequences of a young hysterectomy are massive. Early menopause, bone health, dementia risk. Hysterectomy even increases the risk of pelvic organ prolapse, as gravity causes organs to sink into the space left by the uterus. The fact women are glibly whipping their uteruses out is insane, honestly.

No one is above criticism but I think she's doing a sterling job of bringing this to the streets, talking plainly in every day language and giving normal women the chance to speak and to meet each other. I'd feel so much more isolated and alone without her speakers corner events - and look how this is spreading to the States now and bringing women out there. She encourages those with less courage to speak and provides a space for them to do so. duck being kind, look where it got us. Do you think the Pankhurst's were sweet and gentle with their activism? Why should women not have a confident and assertive leader?

You’ve just reminded me that I need to listen to Helen Lewis’ series on wokeness being a new religion. It’s on BBC Sounds, for anyone else who might be interested. It came out about a month ago but I forgot about it!

I struggled to find it actually! Couldn’t find it be searching for Helen Lewis, which is daft. Had to search Twitter for the same of the programme.

Yup, and I've noticed with a lot of TRA like to silence detransistioners with the famous phrase 'YOU WERE NEVER TRANS TO BEGIN WITH.' even tho they are talking to a mislead person who under went the whole surgery thinking it would make them happier.

Interesting to see all the negative comments on this story. My favourite being “What in the Handmaid’s Tale is this?” Sitting in a hospital bed like she’d just given birth herself seems to be one step too far.


I remember the prevailing view around Kim K renting surrogates for her 3rd and 4th children was that she shouldn’t be criticised because “a doctor told her she couldn’t have any more kids!” (which I call bull on btw, but that’s by the by) and that totally justified her decision to outsource pregnancy to another woman, as opposed to… not having any more kids.

But now the public see Khloe K doing the same a few years later, with no sob stories about pregnancy being detrimental to her health, and see it for what it is - the exploitation of a faceless, anonymous woman who needs the money, by someone who doesn’t want to be pregnant and large again.

Incidentally, isn’t it mad that I never watch the Kardashians, don’t give a crap about the Kardashians, and yet someone know all these details just from social media? 😩
