If she does it isn’t mentioned. The idea to transition seems inspired entirely by getting to know a transwoman and meeting a few other trans people. The fact that giving birth would be distressing to someone who saw themselves as a man isn’t mentioned at all.

Have any of the Irish tattlers seen this? The Irish times agony aunts letters are often a bit out there but I don’t know what to make of this one. Seems strange that making new friends during maternity leave would make a woman want to be a man.

As for the IT - this is hugely irresponsible of them - instead of advising her to talk to her GP and getting proper psychiatric care she has been advised to contact TENI. If she had said she had become friends with someone who was coercing her (and I believe that is what has happened) to become anorexic would she have been told to get advice from a pro-ana group?
ETA - or this is a set-up by TENI to test 'loyalty' at the IT?

I used to be a regular at Barrecore (like at least 4-5 times a week), and never went back after the pandemic because of tit like this creeping into their social media. They even held an online charity class to raise funds for Mermaids, FFS.
As you’d expect of any barre class, the clientele was initially mostly affluent white women over 35, but over the last few years, the instructors have mostly become rainbow-haired children with pronouns in their bio. It’s such a shame because it used to be a great place to go.
Oh yeah it's super challenging to explain that an adult man involving others (including children) in his fetish might be morally wrong

.It’s so silly because when have boutique fitness classes ever NOT been inclusive? Women are a friendly bunch on the whole, they’re not going to laugh at a man coming along, especially a gay man ( not that there’s anything wrong with men attending them, but they do tend to be dominated by a certain type). It’s when it starts bleeding into our rights and enjoyment that we object

There were always some issues with the occasional mean girl type, but most of the time it felt like a very welcoming environment to women and men of all body shapes. (To be clear, I did prefer classes that didn’t have any men in them because I think sometimes straight men signed up mostly to perve.)
The thing I forgot to say at the end of my previous post is that the recent gender-woo changes at Barrecore are deliberate and they’re being driven by somebody. The company changed ownership a while back. Does anybody know if Kobox or Boomcycle (now related brands) are similarly captured?

Some of these stories remind me of those riddles you used to get "who am I" where you had to figure out what family member they where. I start reading them and halfway through I am often like so what is this person then again. Others make no sense like " gay non binary trans person" . I think it’s actually men that have a huge issue with gay men for example- women have never been bothered by or un-inclusive towards them, why would we be? But heterosexual men have this huge obsession with dismissing and diminishing them, so I guess a lot feel happier in a pink frilly rainbow womens’ world where they’re accepted and personality is valued- it’s only partly an illusion, mens’ worlds can be quite beige and straight-laced and masculine. So even heterosexual men get obsessed with the world of being a woman

My 9 year old has just come home to say they have a TIM as a supply teacher for a couple of weeks. I was getting ready to complain but I suppose I can't say anything as they use staff toilets don't they?
I don't think we should consider them as perverts as its more complicated. You could have a female teacher that has a rubber or leather fetish but that would not be accepted in a school/college setting. However we have in your face cross dressing by a male teacher in Canada and its accepted. Now both of these fetish's are perfectly acceptable in the comfort of your own home - neither are my cup of tea and I would not term them perverted. However how have we got to the stage that its fine for a guy to wear grotesque fake bits and an exceptionally short skirt which is accepted as he is expressing his true self.
If that is the case why is adult babies not acceptable in a workplace? After all they are identifying as an infant instead of a woman. Why can't I wear my gif outfit or leather gear to work but I could dress up as a caricature of a woman and I would be applauded.
It’s more a paraphilia than a fetish. Being seen and displaying the paraphilia in a public setting is very often an intrinsic part of it, so after the initial stages of the paraphilia develop doing it at home, in privacy, isn’t really an option. Many paraphilias include exhibiting it in front of ‘non consenting persons’ - in this case the non consenting persons are children, ffs.
