Like I say, I just cannot agree with "it's my way or no way".
No. Do you?
No, it's one of the incidents that woke me up to how bad drag queen story time is. Teaching a young child to bend over and wiggle his or her bum at anyone in the room? Grooming. And we're seeing far too much of grooming.
I can see no reason why drag queens should be involved in childrens activities. All my kids are grown up but there's no way that I'd have let them attend an event like this.
I don't agree with 'my way or the highway' either but I do agree with protesting about things that are wrong. I don't think that is 'my way or the highway'. I think that's people telling parents to open their eyes as to whats going on. And some parents clearly need to be told.
I get really pissed off with the 'teaching children to be fabulous' crap as well. It's actually teaching children to be superficial. Theres nothing fabulous about that. It's fake. It's telling children that if they want to be 'fabulous' then make up is the way to go. What nonsense. Do you know who is fabulous? Every woman in Englands women's football. They're fabulous. JK Rowling is fabulous. Marie Curie was beyond fabulous. Fake
bits and make up isn't fabulous at all. We should encourage our kids to do much more in their lives than that.
