Do you know if it’s true that even if she (and Racquel) wins, the other side don’t have to pay for the court costs? Because if it is and they’re purposely submitting evidence so close to the trial date in order to steepen the costs knowing they won’t be liable even if losing, that’s outrageous.
I think that’s exactly what’s happening. Maya Foresters trial they kept trying to submit new evidence too….

What an excellent piece of writing, not something I thought I'd ever say about the Mail!
On Raquel's page it says that she has to raise enough money to pay the other side's costs in case she loses. Allison says she will be personally liable for over half a million in costs whether she wins or loses. Raquel's case has actually been heard, I'd forgotten, but they're expecting a judgement by the middle of May, although the judge did say he might request an extension.
I have to say, behaviour like this (and the immense sums of money required) really shines a light on our legal system and what a mess it is.
I don’t begrudge people needing tons to money to instruct expensive QCs, but the ease with which the other side can throw a spanner in the works… it shouldn’t be allowed.
It’s shocking what Twitter allows and doesn’t. Do any of you follow Milli Hill? She’s very critical of the trans ideology taking over the birth world and she got a Twitter ban recently for ‘hate speech’ - can’t remember what the tweet said but it was basically just questioning the ideology, nothing hateful (and certainly nowhere near like what JK has to live with)

Interesting that they are the lead investigator for the Tavistock investigation into trans althletes in sport. Sure that the report will not be slanted in favour of trans ignoring quite a bit of evidence that does not further their case.
I too am old and feel that the world has gone mad!!!
I was born in the 60s and grew up in the 70s and 80s when gender stereotypes were very ingrained. When I was at school boys did technical studies (woodwork etc) and girls did fabric and fashion. It was considered ground-breaking that we all did food and nutrition.
The cyclists photo highlights to me how much things have changed. Years ago women strived to be able to be who they were, without having to wear make up or high heels. Sometimes I feel transwoman think that this is the definition of womanhood.
I believe that people should be able to live their lives as they want and society should respect people's decisions.
I'm not religious but the one thing I hold onto from my Catholic days are treat people as you want to be treated.
But!!! I have issues with the self declaration thing that is progressing in Scotland. And my main issue is the effect on vulnerable women, women in refuges, hospitals, prison etc.
In everyday life if we see someone were uncomfortable with, we can leave or move to a different space. If you are in a refuge, hospital or prison, you can't. And that worries me.
And one final thing. I believe transwoman are woman. There are loads of different kinds of women (or at least there used to be).
But if you can wake up tommorrow morning and think, I've had enough of this woman thing and I'm going back to being a man, you are not a transwoman, you're a narcissist and a chancer.

I don’t want any male around me when I’m in the toilet, out of public view, whether he’s in a dress or not. Have some gender neutral toilets IN ADDITION to sexed and go in there.

Treating people with respect, is a two way street. I have seen zero respect, empathy, compassion or even a willingness to address the issues of rapes, murders and sexual assaults that are happening because women are being forced to accept and bloody validate grown men who cannot be honest with themselves that they are men! - Nada of anything but oppression from TRA's and their supporters.
And it is oppression.

Yes, that’s it! The frequency and intensity made me really uneasy. Like, we’re meant to be on the same side... I’m not sure he’s a good figurehead for TERFism tbh.
In other news, I have a new kindle so am finally getting round to reading Helen Joyce’s Trans book, thank you to whoever gave the heads up when it was 99p not so long ago!
There are loads of different kinds of women but none of them have or at some point had, a pen. Trans women are men and are not a subset of women.
I would agree.
