Here’s yet another scandal. It should be higher up the gender critical agenda this weekend, but there have been so many concurrent shitstorms, it’s hard to keep up.

A GOSH conference for doctors was cancelled because people lobbied against the likes of Helen Joyce who were due to speak. Trainee child psychologists are not being allowed to hear the sensible side of the story.

There is no place for “no debate” when it comes to evidence based medicine FFS.

It should have gone ahead just without the groups adamant to cancel themselves.

" I am disillusioned that some women are using masculine behaviour to aggressively promote their agenda in an uncompromising way. "

I'm sorry, should we be pressing flowers instead?

Juno Dawson peddling rit

I read books as a teen that were rather 'moral panic' in their time - Forever by Judy Blume and Junk by Melvin Burgess. However, while Junk depicted drug addiction and prostitution the author wasn't selling the lifestyle as good - he was doing the opposite. And Forever was about sensitively showing teenage romance and its transience. The book above doesn't seem to be that way.

What a surprise that a TIM has such a bizarre and stereotypical idea of masculine and feminine behaviour.

It does feel a bit like that letter was printed to rile the leadership with that line. It was very stereotypical.

Was just about to turn in but looked on Twitter and JK is tweeting again. Highlighting detransitioners. She’s on a mission! Some pretty sad regret stories. It’s really quite unsettling that there is pretty much zero follow up with those who transition. So no way to know the true number of those who regret it. No one wants to know anyway. If you want to detrans it seems you’re treated like dogshit. Why am I not surprised?

On a side note, sometimes I play a wee game to myself on Instagram on the explore page. Scroll through and when there is a pic of woman I try and guess if they have their pronouns on their bio (just she/her). It’s amazing what you can guess from one picture because I’m pretty good at it! These are just complete strangers, not celebs or anything. Although I’m pretty good at guessing which celebs will have them. Next time you’re bored, go on, play this wee game! I have no idea how I know when someone does, I just do 😂

Why is it sad? It's a great thing. It shows that kids are finally being referred for the help that they need?!
But are they receiving the help they need? The Tavistock has had some pretty damning whistleblower stories. I'm not sure they are in their current form helping any child.

Those numbers to me reflect the poor provision for child and adolescent mental health care across the UK.

Not to mention that there has been such a jump in cases in a decade just makes me think that research into Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria among children, especially girls, is urgently necessary.

Probably paraphrasing terribly but, “Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

A woman is a woman and a man is a man.
