Ive said before the only saving Grace out of this whole mess was if he won, and in a post-interview admitted that the whole thing was a lie, he did it to make an important point about how this simply can’t be policed in a fair way, and to formally give up the medal and 1st place on the podium.

I don’t even want comment on this swimmer, I was an athlete and I was one of the best in my country for a while but whenever boys started the puberty they left us girls so behind we had no chance, even if we were older and had better technique and trained more. Everyone who supports trans women in women’s sport is a fool.

Watching those tiktok videos - I think he’s taking the piss. The actual trans videos I’ve seen are much more aggressive, and earnest and self pitying and misogynistic. He’s having too much fun with it, because it’s a big joke.

Yeah.........but , of course, if the person identifies as a woman you aren't allowed to say anything, nor bar them from the womens competition.
What they need to do is offer- specifically- a trans race , but also allowing anyone else to enter as well. That way the playing field is levelled. That way you can have mens, womens and trans - and if a man or woman who hasn't transgendered enters it & wins it,well, that's fair play isn't it? Because it seems to be fair play if a trans wins in the women's race?

Well tbh I'm only a recent convert to GC so it's not had an opportunity to come up a lot! She's very "live and let live" and like me previously a bit naive in thinking that the vast majority of people act how they do for the best possible reasons. Honestly I think if I sat with her and went over everything she'd have a bit of a personal crisis and realise she's not as pro trans as she'd like to think. I'm also just more politically-minded though so I doubt that'd happen cos she's just not interested. My boyfriend of several months broke up with me when he figured out I was TWAW. I had figured he was on the other side but wasn't sure how much. I think he's been a coward. Broke up with me rather than think to be quite frank.
Better off without him in that case! There's no value in a relationship where you can't discuss anything real and respect differences of opinion (or at least try).
I've been upset because I think he's capable of better. I think he's massively letting himself down and that when this tit hits mainstream in a way that's unavoidable he's going to be appalled with himself.
His female friends are all lib-fems so that won't help him either.
