"It's not a fetish"
I’m angry just hearing about it. Privacy and respect means nothing these days, and bonus points if they can bully and ridicule a woman for not being comfortable FFS! Sometimes my brain can’t cope with all this tit we are meant to put up with.I saw a TicTok one if those stupid staged social experiments (hate those) a TiM was challenged for using the ladies by a "Karen" ( hate that term with a vengeance but that's what she was portraying so effing misogynistic) and a group of MEN piped up in support of the trans. Telling a woman who gets to use women's spaces
The whole narrative was of course that the woman was in the wrong. I couldn't watch it to its conclusion. Even worse were the comments with some saying things like " if I had been there I would have punched that Karen" the whole thing has really upset and angered me. I saw it 3 days ago but its stuck in my mind
I’m pretty sure that the BBC used this very image in a (positive) article about Pride. Beggars belief.
That thread is depressing but the replies and supporting snips in the thread (don’t tweet not sure what they’re called!) are promising. More and more people in the public eye, especially in sports are speaking up.In talking about periods, When I was a teen the bleeding lasted several weeks but never went to the gp as I had no understanding of periods, it went to the fairly normal albeit really heavy and painful. I blame the Catholic education rather than my mum as she felt it would just be a bother to the gp and probably suffered the same crap, she's long dead following rapid dementia - she did go to the gp about memory loss and he (yep a male GP) laughed and said we all forget
It's all the womens groups that are embracing this trans tit when there's so many female issues to be dealt with that's annoying as there's nowhere to turn to. Warning it's a long thread and very upsetting
Mary is getting roasted for that reply and rightly soThat thread is depressing but the replies and supporting snips in the thread (don’t tweet not sure what they’re called!) are promising. More and more people in the public eye, especially in sports are speaking up.

Ha! Her OBE is literally for services “to tennis, women in sport, and charity.”That thread is depressing but the replies and supporting snips in the thread (don’t tweet not sure what they’re called!) are promising. More and more people in the public eye, especially in sports are speaking up.

Would be great to ask them so if you where out shopping or for something to eat with mum/granny/sister/aunt etc and it was them challenging the person would they punch them? Yes or they would be collaborators who denounce their own blood to curry favour with the partyWould be great to ask them so if you where out shopping or for something to eat with mum/granny/sister/aunt etc and it was them challenging the person would they punch them? Cue tumbleweed
Thats so weird , I really don't get why hairdressers are still often men/women, what difference does it make in this day and age? I have seen places that charge differently for men's or women's cuts and it makes no sense to me, lots of women have short hair and lots of men have long.totally illogical, not like something like a spa or a prisonI know a couple of butch lesbians who’ve been turned away from barbers who only cater for men. It’s tit because hair is hair, but their choice. Plenty of unisex places like Supercuts you can go to.
But of course put the trans issue into it and everyone loses their minds.
Person who wants a “man’s” haircut went to a specific hairdresser that specialises in said styles. Why wouldn’t they cut it? Probably spoke to a head who wanted to be rude. What do you all think about this? Trans man told to leave barbers as they "don't do women's haircuts." https://tattle.life/threads/19920/
Eta: posted too soon. Was going to say I don't blame them as the individual does look very much like a woman, but I think that spokesman could've done better than "we don't cut long hair" - the person in question seems to have short hair, and also some men have long hair? Would they then turn them away?
See this bottom bit is where I try and give barbers the benefit of the doubt - I know a few women who have short hair and have been turned away from barbers - but surely short hair is just short hair? Unless they're after a pixie cut or something I feel like it wouldn't really make a difference. This barber situation seems to pop up fairly regularly but instead of just accepting the minor inconvenience and taking your business elsewhere people like to scream discrimination and run to the press. This situation is just an attempt at attention seeking and could do unnecessary damage to someone’s business.
However…
As per my understanding barber training course teaches different things to that of a general hair stylist. So people will choose a barbers course that might also include things like beard work and close shaves etc and haven’t necessarily had the same training with long hair as a general hair dresser but a general hairdresser will have a bit of barbers training. (if that makes sense)
