My sister who works in mental healthcare linked me to a news article about a case she was involved with where a teenage boy had committed a very serious crime against a woman. The article begins with "(perpetrator) used the pronoun they/them" and then kept referring to him as they/them. I mean, you can do that, but anyone can see from the article/photos that this is a boy and a crime typically committed by men

Saw this article this morning on the BBC - Billie Eilish talking about being exposed to abusive pornography when she was 11 and the damage it caused. It doesn't go into a lot of detail but I very rarely see anything like this in the news, if anything it's sex positive nonsense like "try watching porn with your partner to improve your sex life"

Apparently she’s getting a backlash from pornsick people who think it’s totally OK for 11 year olds to be exposed to porn, and well, god forbid anyone criticise porn to these coombrains full stop.

My daughter is 10 and the idea of her being exposed to any kind of explicit sexual content makes me want to throw up.

How anyone is talking about what JKR said and not the fact men are raping women, and then being allowed to identify as women, is baffling.

I really hate that I have to stay quiet about this publicly, but I'm in the civil service and would definitely put my job at risk. I wish I could afford to, but I can't.

I’ve seen lots of response to Billie’s comments from the usual suspects (pro porn women, grotty porn fan men) saying it’s her fault for watching extreme BDSM porn.

All porn is harmful. All porn affects young men and women.
