It’s quite stomach churning all this BS map stuff. Gives me the rage.I don't like her (she is a right wing nutjob) but some of the points in this are pretty scary
I think she is aussie but lives in the US (or vice versa) Yeah I have no idea why it was recommended to me, she is the kind of person who has refused the vaccine and uses the term "sheep"... so I have no idea what the youtube algorithm is doing for me? As usual it is sad that only right wing people are making these pointsIt’s quite stomach churning all this BS map stuff. Gives me the rage.
Also this woman’s accent had me scratching my head. Sounded a bit Aussie, then kinda mid west American. Anyway, never heard of her, if she’s a right wing nutjob then I’m glad. But I get the points she’s making here. It’s very worrying.
She's a very engaging communicator and not wrong in this video.I don't like her (she is a right wing nutjob) but some of the points in this are pretty scary
This is the kind of worrying thing about these right wing people though, the same with Jordan Peterson etc. I don't know what is going to happen, society is just going in extremes, it seems noone is in the middle anymore, either be a right wing nutjob and defend women (sort of) or a left sing extremist (usually a man) saying that women should accept men in our spaces. She's a very engaging communicator and not wrong in this video.
Absolutely, we're all being pushed to these opposing poles. I'm left wing and always will be, but just because the "left" and the "right" have adopted these ideas doesn't mean they inherently belong to either group I don't think. This is the kind of worrying thing about these right wing people though, the same with Jordan Peterson etc. I don't know what is going to happen, society is just going in extremes, it seems noone is in the middle anymore, either be a right wing nutjob and defend women (sort of) or a left sing extremist (usually a man) saying that women should accept men in our spaces.
exactly, and even (if you are in the UK) the WEP is just pandering to the trans movement it seemsAbsolutely, we're all being pushed to these opposing poles. I don't know what the answer is - I certainly don't want to align myself with the right, and nor do I want vulnerable gender non-conforming people to not be able to live their lives freely and safely, but protecting vulnerable women is my priority as a feminist. I wish I knew what the attainable middle ground is.
That is the thing, obviously the right do not care at all about feminist causes, hence why I would never support them but they have just seen somewhere they can gain support, clever of them in a way, much cleverer than the left alienating women. Most of the debates on the left in the UK are really just navel gazing. I want a party that can win public support so our NHS doesn't collapse and we don't end up in some nightmare of US type health system. They really need to look at the bigger picture, which no one seems to want/be able to do. I am usually quite optimistic but at the moment I am in despair and have been for a while. At the point where I am at a feminist event and I felt unable to give my opinions about "safe spaces" for women that don't involve trans women... I just don't even know where to goTo be honest I'm quite consequentialist with this kind of thing. I doubt that the right wingers care much for defending women, but if the outcome is no self ID and all the other bollocks then frankly I don't care what the motive is behind it anymore. Besides, in England at least we've had a Tory government for God knows how long - I think the right wingers are loud and proud, and will probably be drawing more awareness and attention to this cause than the kind of very academic lefty 'debates' going on right now that might ostracise normal people
oh yeah her views about anything other than child safeguarding/trans issues are insane but I agree, and as I have said before, I cannot believe as someone who is leftwing this is someone I am posting as no one else I would otherwise support is. The child thing is especially insane to me, we all know society basically doesn't care about women... but I really did think children would be more protected , acolutely insaneI actually do like Sydney Watson. She is definitely conservative and I absolutely don't agree with all her views (she is pro-gun for example) but her videos on gender issues and the lack of child safeguarding are spot on. The more people talking about this the better.
Bad bleeping times when the Mail are the only outlet reporting reliably on something. The DM have covered the Harrop tribunal really well. And I know this is typical DM language, but to call him a “Troll GP” in the headline, and highlight the fact his abuse was primarily of women, is fabulous

Troll GP likened JK Rowling to Jimmy Savile in sick tweets
In a series of bizarre rambling tweets, Adrian Harrop (pictured), 31, from Liverpool, claimed the beloved children's author 'isn't safe to be around children' due to her views on gender.www.dailymail.co.uk

Anyway, I take back what I said earlier - I don’t think he’s a narc, I think he’s a sociopath.
Luxury communism is the biggest oxymoron ever. Sarkar is a handmaiden and a clown.Or 'luxury communism' à la Ash Sarkar
Edited to add - we're on Dave Chapelle already!Channel 4 has a show just starting called "Cancelled" - looks like it will include a look at using non trans inclusive language. Richard Bacon is presenting.
