I came on here to post about Terry Gilliam being cancelled by the 'Old Vic' and see that it's already been mentioned.
How absolutely ridiculous
theatres against free speech! So much for the days when theatres used to push the boundaries and offer real thought provoking entertainment. Terry Gilliam has always had the intelligence and wit to satirise the establishment of the day.
I sincerely hope that the theatre loses support for this sinister move. They are now punishing everyone who was involved in this production and probably needed the work after lockdown.
To be honest I think that there's also a huge element of 'ageism' going on here which of course is never mentioned. In other words young people (especially those who support TRAs) are right and older people now labelled 'gammons or boomers' are wrong.
