I think it opens up a can of worms to people putting "Jedi" or NB or the opposite sex tbh. The person in the article was raised male, I understood intersex individuals to be officially one sex with some variance in characteristics? So they should put the sex they are? I do think it is more complicated for intersex than others who live in fantasyland though.Thoughts on this?

The United States has issued its first passport with an "X" gender designation, after a five-year battle during which the recipient said they identified as intersex.
And the self ID part of it, and the school boards comments about how 'sexual assaults don't happen in bathrooms' is being completely glossed over, if it gets reported at all. Apparently the students have marched out of class in protest.
Good for them. If I were a teenager I would too. It angers me that because there’s supposedly no reports of anything happening in countries that have self ID (we know that not to be true as with the case in America), the point is the potential harm to women and girls. No one is saying genuine trans people are rapists and predators (I’m certainly not saying that). But if you have a legal loophole this big then there will be evil and opportunistic men who will take advantage. How is the Scottish government ok with putting women and girls at risk? Just to protect the feelings of a very small community.
I doubt it. Having seen them in real life that’s exactly what they’re like.
