That BBC article was a real eye opener. Listening to the Stephen Nolan podcast at the moment and you can see how swayed by Stonewall the BBC have been, but I think it’s starting to turn now. They can’t call themselves impartial when they are just puppets for Stonewall.

The aggressive and disgusting treatment of lesbians not wanting to date trans men is VILE and absolutely the world gone mad. It’s gaslighting 101. It’s men wanting to control women. These opinions should not even be given the time of day, it’s stomach churning. I feel so worried for the next generation of lesbians, being completely gas lit and bullied in to having sex with trans women against their will for fear of being called transphobic. It’s GOT TO STOP!

I really hate how it's always women of colour used as the comparison to transwomen. They have nothing in common.

Also how hard is it? To say they are disgusting = transphobia. To not want to sleep with them = not transphobia.
Her and Owhine Jones are the most intellectually dishonest rabble rousers of wokedom around. Insufferable bellends.

Gosh I’m still so angry. I love these gender threads but they burn me out so quick 😂

I think it also helps that it is on the BBC. Yes, some people consider it to be a far-right publisher, but to the majority of people the BBC is approx centre.

With the sole exception of the Morning Star, anything like this usually comes out in the Telegraph, the DM, the Spectator, or Spiked. All either right-leaning or right-wing publications, and while I'm grateful to have anyone covering it, hopefully this will change some people's mind about GC being an 'alt-right neo-fascist movement.'

I just get so confused by the terminology that I lose the will to live. This is trans101, but a transman is a woman thinking/pretending to be a man, while a transwoman is man thinking/pretending to be a woman, right? So if a lesbian doesnt want to have sex with a penis she might be ok with the transman but not the transwoman... and vice versa obviously.

I wonder if all this is going to drive increased celibacy rates, because quite honestly I think the chances for confusion are very high. And speaking personally, I know which genitalia interest me and which ones don't.

The way they carry on, you'd think that they run the risk of being murdered just by going to Tesco.

Super progressive, a man calling out lesbians (sorry, anti-trans activists) for talking about being coerced into sex.

We're approaching MRA talk here. Is he gonna swoop into conversations about women being assaulted by men and ask for evidence while waving his 'not all men' flag?

I've always been a lefty wanker but at this point Spiked is among a few talking a bit of sense. I never thought I'd see the day.

Jesus wept.
I read that as "antichrist baby" and nearly clicked to see if I could buy it for my goth mate and her son 🤣🤣🤣.

A guy in work asked me why a women's award had been pulled by an organisation and I started to explain what's going on. Straight away, he replied 'you can't improve equality for one group by eroding another's' and I felt such a sense of relief. I'm sure the vast majority of people feel like this but are either unaware of what's going on or too scared to speak out for fear of being attacked or insulted.

A bloke at work pulled me aside to show me a photo of a tampon machine in the men's toilets, I rolled my eyes, which be took as his cue to tell me he's really interested in the way trans activism is denying science and disadvantaging women, and that he has no issue with the way anyone lives their lives but he doesn't understand why they require his participation in their 'identity' to do so... It's really interesting how many people I would never have expected to have their eye on this stuff who are taking an interest.

I'll also add, tampons and pads in the ladies at my work used to be free. I rarely used them (and I don't think many did - everyone at my work in tbe public sector is reasonably well paid) but it was really useful if you got caught short. Now we have "inclusivity" but if you need one bleeping tampon you have to have a quid on you. I don't object to paying but if I've not got a tampon on me I probably won't have a pound coin 😂.

Great, thanks for making women worse off.

ALSO (since I'm in full rant mode), what is it with women, predominantly white, in their twenties, who consider themselves 'woke', who are so determined to suck up to trans people? My twitter's full today of this type of woman who tweet about 'sending love' to the trans community following the BBC article, especially to their 'trans sisters'. It's like they're all in a competition to 'out-woke' each other? Maybe it weirds me out so much because I fall into that demographic and maybe that would've once been me? But, for example, I saw someone tweet about transphobia following that article but also tweet the same day about women only gyms. Wow girl you're in for a nasty shock when you go to your woman only gym and blokes who self ID as women walk in, but hey, you can't question their gender because transphobia 💅💅💅

This happened in my late teens and early twenties when I noticed women were falling over themselves to prove they were Cool Girls and fine with pornography, stripping, sex work, football, beer and burgers. The same women who were my peers are now the non-binaries and trans allies. It was the same then as it is now - appeasing men. Ladies... they still hate you.

They're bitching about the poll not being representative when it literally says in the article the poll is self-selected and not necessarily representative.

Of course, polls on trans people's issues are never, ever self-selected 😂

I wonder if it has to do with years of socialisation of girls and women with society telling them they are stupid or materialistic so they are latching onto woke stuff like the gender ideology to prove that they are people of intellect or something? That or classic grandstanding, perhaps.

Is there a way to approve of an article? They're organising mass complaints on twitter and it would be nice to have a way to say 'hey, thanks for publishing that.'

The concept of 'unicorn hunting' exists but typically straight women don't pressure lesbians for solo sex Kristian.

I'm shocked!! All those performative activists with #BelieveWomen all over their social medias proving that they do not actually believe women.

Also I'm having a laugh at one of the tweets I read. It went something like: "Anyone can identify as anything! How can we even be sure the women in this article are even lesbians?" lol.
