A lot of good people think they'd be amazing as parents, would pass all the checks and on paper would have no problems. However, actually having a kid is very different. It's a stress like no other that can churn up all sorts of mental health issues and affect the way you parent. Postnatal depression can happen, which nobody can predict. There's no such thing as a perfect parent, but I don't think she even believes what she said.
The only reason Gabby said this at all is to again allude to having a bad childhood, as she gets off on the sympathy and probably loves toxic trauma TikTok a bit too much.
