Sorry I know I'm late with this because she's been on one, but my bf has an autoimmune disease and has had multiple (major) surgeries over the past 5 years, and still is not eligible for the vaccine, purely because he's not currently flaring (could happen at any time though eh, maybe even triggered by idk... catching a virus?). At the end of the day everyone’s entitled to their opinion on stuff opening up again, but there’s a way to go about discussing it when you’re in the public eye (if you can even describe her decreasing platform as that). Look at dr alex’s post this morning for example, what a lovely way to approach it. And that’s coming from an NHS worker who is probably terrified at the thought of cases rising again but he also understands how important it is for people to socialise, at their own pace. The difference of course, is that Alex has empathy and some class, which Gabby does not
