Not the gasolina vibes we want.
Depressing isn't it? My only hope is the other teams who are working hard to increase inclusivity. Aston Martin in particular have done loads for women, you have Mercedes being instrumental in Lewis initiative and Alpine have partnered with Racing Pride. I'm trying to engage more with this content on social media and less with Redbull. We all have little parts to play I guess. It's just Red Bull at its best. bleeping bunch of ignorant people. They're hoping for the entire thing to just blow over if they give a half assed statement and some pretend consequences and that's it. Racism has no consequences in this sport and no one will ever learn from this or the Piquet incident because people just don't care enough to go through with their action, there are no repercussions to racist behaviour and that is just setting such a poor example for fans and everyone really. Unbelievable. They're really shitting on POC and continuing as they were.
I am the total opposite, I drive with my bag, phone and snus all stacked up in the passenger seat Most important thing is to know where the snus is, so I can grab one quick and get it under my upper lip in secondsSimilar trust issues. I was also thinking this. This is not our GasolinaNot the gasolina vibes we want.

I regularly leave my laptop and bag on the passenger seat, fuckers would do me a favour if they took itI am the total opposite, I drive with my bag, phone and snus all stacked up in the passenger seat Most important thing is to know where the snus is, so I can grab one quick and get it under my upper lip in seconds
Hasn't happened yet, right? So why bother hiding it everytime I leave the car? only thing I'm hiding is the keys to my house, and it's not that well hiddenI regularly leave my laptop and bag on the passenger seat, fuckers would do me a favour if they took it
Sounds amazing!! I wish I could afford to go next year or to any GP.Silverstone debrief below!!
Friday was a mega early day for us.
We watched F2 at international pit straight, FP1 from Hamilton straight and FP2 from Club. Also watched W Series from Club which was great! Our idea was to suss out where we wanted to watch quali from on the Friday so that we had good views. We did a lap of the track as well which was bloody massive!
I made a rookie mistake here - went for a piss and forgot to take a tissue - needless to say realising mid-stream that there was no toilet roll and having to shake was not ideal
I can’t upload my videos sadly but here are some pictures:

Saturday we started the day off by sitting quickly in Copse before moving to Becketts for FP3. Let me tell you, it was freezing - the wind was absolutely nutty! I felt like I was going to be blown off the grandstand and into the merch tents.
We decided we were going to watch quali from Club so we made the journey over and it was RAMMED. We were so lucky that a stranger saved the day!
We were stood at the back of a massive queue to get up to the stand and a stranger approached and said ‘come with me’. I thought duck it, if all else fails we’re only going to end up at the back of the queue again, so we followed him. He snuck us into Club and said ‘I’ve been saving these seats for my friends but they’re sitting somewhere else so you can have them because you look nice and you’re wearing a Lewis hat’. It was a beige Alpine hat that my brother was wearing but we were not going to correct him hahaha. The seats were the second row from the front!!
We ended up seeing Valtteri spin on his first lap, Max’s spin and the final drama where Carlos got quickest lap at the last second ! The rain made it so so interesting and we had the best time!
The people we were staying with managed by chance to get into hospitality and said someone purposefully dropped a glass bottle from the balcony into the pit lane during quali - it hit the bonnet of one of the safety cars. What a pleb!

Well Sunday was just mental wasn’t it. I am SO happy Zhou and Alex are okay - I cannot tell you how silent Silverstone was after the crash when we were waiting for any news on his condition. As soon as it was confirmed that Zhou was okay everyone erupted into cheers which was amazing!
We had grandstand seats at Luffield Corner a few rows from the front which was great. Seb’s lap was dreamy as was the driver parade! They all looked so cute being driven around in the old cars!
The race itself, bar the crash, was phenomenal. We had some amazing action at Luffield between Charles, Perez and Lewis. The crowd reaction to Lewis’ overtakes as well as Max getting a puncture was absolutely electric. We were so happy to see Carlos get his first pole and win - very unfortunate for Charles but I think Carlos deserved it after his patience - 150 GPs is a long time to wait!
Track walk after the race was also amazing - I picked up some tyre rubber as a momento of an amazing weekend.

I took my film camera with me and took some pictures on there too so will let you all know if I got any good ones once the rolls are developed.
@90sgirl and @landolorian I’d love to know what tickets you two had and whether you’d recommend them for next year!
Silverstone 2023 Tattle meet up pending!
Not theft but my dad once had some guy suddenly open the passenger door from the outside and demand he drives him somewhere. So I’m traumatized for lifeHasn't happened yet, right? Oh don't get me wrong in any other situation i never left my bag alone. I even check multiple times that my wallet/papers and everything are still in the bag. But when i am at the gas station i just don't take it outside the car because i am like less than 1m away from the passenger seat so it doesn't really worry me (and i live in a place where there is very few problems so that might explain why). And because i am too afraid to dirty my bagI always take my bag with me I have trust issues it appears
And the Upside down is actually a nice place for Red Bull drivers to exist in.the idea was good
but the drawing is horrible imo
I called my dad before I stopped for a nap on Sunday, he told me to lock my doors, and my answer was: "If anyone wants to get into my car, I'll take them in with open arms" And if any hillbilly from where I stopped were to get into my car, I would have been able to speak his language, and tell him to go to hell so nicely that I would look forward to the tripNot theft but my dad once had some guy suddenly open the passenger door from the outside and demand he drives him somewhere. Wait are gas stations in France automatized? Like with a payment machine? Here you still have to go inside to a cashier and pay in person. If there were machines here, I wouldn’t take my bag eitherOh don't get me wrong in any other situation i never left my bag alone. Give me a few hours more and I'll understand this reference Just watched the episode where Upside Down is mentioned of S1And the Upside down is actually a nice place for Red Bull drivers to exist in.
I’m confused because Horner said that but Red Bull junior or whatever is called said something different and a journalist that cover the junior series denied it after contacted the actual Red Bull junior thingy that apparently has little to do with Horner,So minimum consequences then . They'll give it a year and he'll come back with a redemption story on DTS and everyone will love him again. Being Lewis Hamilton must be so bleeping exhausting mustn't it? Being the only black driver in this absolute quagmire of toxicity. I'm not saying the kid should never get a chance to atone but this is barely a rap on the knuckles
Wait a minute? Don't you live in like the number one car-country in Europe? At least manufacturingwise? Why don't you have automated gas stations, where you just pay at the pump?Wait are gas stations in France automatized? Like with a payment machine? Ah ok i understand now Yes 95% of them are automatized. Ans trust me this is really usefull when you need to refuel on sundays or at 3 am I think the only ones with cashiers are the small stations in the deep deep countrysideWait are gas stations in France automatized? I mean maybe they exist in Berlin or Munich or Hamburg, like the biggest of big cities, but not where I live which is a reasonably big city tbh… but Germany sucks with things like that, nothing is automatic over here, if you stumble upon some kind of machine chances are it doesn’t even work, and our last chancellor even called the internet 'new territory'… in like 2013Wait a minute? We have had this for ages, and it also means that we don't have gas stations open for 24/7 but I'm okay with that
He has a bit of a villainous look on his face here. With the way his eyebrows are and stuff. I'm kinda into villain-George. Maybe I'm just into George no matter what mode he's in.Carmen and George at Wimbledon today (i think)
