Apprently there are rumors about the calendar for next year with 23 or 24 races starting on march 5th but without France and Spa. I don't really care about France but i'm so sad for Spa, this is one of my favourite track . The only chance to race in spa is if South Africa doesn't take place.

It's just Red Bull at its best. Fucking bunch of ignorant people. They're hoping for the entire thing to just blow over if they give a half assed statement and some pretend consequences and that's it. Racism has no consequences in this sport and no one will ever learn from this or the Piquet incident because people just don't care enough to go through with their action, there are no repercussions to racist behaviour and that is just setting such a poor example for fans and everyone really. Unbelievable. They're really shitting on POC and continuing as they were.

Depressing isn't it? My only hope is the other teams who are working hard to increase inclusivity. Aston Martin in particular have done loads for women, you have Mercedes being instrumental in Lewis initiative and Alpine have partnered with Racing Pride. I'm trying to engage more with this content on social media and less with Redbull. We all have little parts to play I guess.

Luisa is his girlfriend. She’s not some marketing strategy, PR orchestra or anything. She wouldn’t be there if Lando didn’t ask her to be. Silverstone is always like that for British drivers, look at Daniel in Australia, Max in Zandvoort… the more popular a driver the crazier their home race and Lando’s currently leading the British favourites list. Lando’s a grown ass man, he doesn’t need his dad to manage his life or job. I don’t know why that constantly comes up, he has a whole marketing and PR team, as well as a managing company whose boss is sitting with him in that picture, behind him nowadays and his dad can just be his dad. I may not be Lando’s biggest fan right now but come on he’s not some little kid that needs to be guided by his dad

I have no doubt that Lando is in charge of his own destiny and that's a good thing. He certainly isn't racing for Adam or under his control. I think it was a podcast he was on this year where he discussed his development years and how his father created a healthy safe place. Lando said itvwS. Significant investment and now it's paying off because of how well planned. To me it's that 'return' of the investment Lando said he felt like he owes to all his dad did to start up. So more a 'patnership' than a Max /Jos kind deal. But by no means is Lando not in charge or not thriving. He has control and that's key.

Last I’ll say about this I promise. In Barcelona Lando was ill and didn’t even do media. What’s she gonna do, do media for him instead? I don’t even think it’s comparable. I don’t know why her being sweet to fans has to be some form of marketing strategy as if they’re a PR couple. I find that pretty disheartening tbh. She can’t win, she stays back when Lando’s ill and she’s ‘pissed at fans’, she helps fans get to Lando and she’s a ‘PR orchestra’. I don’t get it. Why is there such a need to make her look like a bad person?

So I did preface this comment saying I wasn't trying to shit on Luisa or Lando. It was more of a difference I noticed in basic things from arrival to Quadrant's official F1 shoutout. None of this is bad and F1 is a serious marketing machine in general. Lando thrives in that. Luisa of course isn't a part of it but I think her being involved like this is wonderful for all. I was pretty shocked at how Lando mentioned how much the hate directly hurt Luisa, and this was definitely we are in this together as a team and she's not just a visitor. I don't think anything was fake. They both looked so damn happy all weekend. Point was I do think between her PR and Landos PR there was probably at least some discussion on that article. He's not 'protecting' her but he's making it clear she is an equal and part of him.

In a way it's a lot like how Valtteri and Alex are wirh Tiffany and Lily. Just how to be present and not fade into the background where hate can thrive... but I'm sure cinnamon will find a way. So yeah Luisa is winning and thriving Nd I look forward to more of it.

No Spa sucks so bad. It is one of the best tracks. There was also a rumour that teams want the season to start in late February because 2022 ends so early because of the World Cup and they’d rather have an early season start than a bunch of double and triple headers.

Either way I’m hoping the new prime minister realises they’ll need to call a general election. Next wee while is going to be more turbulent than it needs to be.
We’ve already got the brexit mess, inflation chaos, strikes and covid is still around.
Waiting til October means no key and major decisions will be made which is a nightmare when you realise how many public sector workers are waiting on pay awards that were already due 3 months ago.

TW: Weight and weight loss.
I totally understand people being proud of loosing weight, I've even been proud of loosing weight in an unhealthy manner myself. (Albeit it wasn't really planned, just a really hot summer where my hunger hit rock bottom).
I am with you in being uncomfortable seeing other people putting their weight loss out there, especially if they are an influencer with little to no experience with fitness/weight loss training. And I mean, I don't see why Cha feels like she needs to loose weight. I would rather have influencers like her be a role model for training strength and cardio, and not focus on loosing that weight..
But hey, that's just my opinion.

currently waiting for my doctors office to open up, so I'll be able to get a note for my work saying that I am sick.

I personally find her weightloss healthy..it seems to me she had a programme and a trainer. Also at that age, after finishing her degree as well, she probably felt like now she can build her routine around her new schedule and work to be healthy and happy. Losing weight isn't always about image, it's about building healthy habits and feeling well and I don't see anything to suggest that that wasn't the case for Charlotte.
That's my view of course, as a person in my 30s that now knows that having good exercise and eating habits from an early age is a thing that serves you for life
