I think the car is a dog (no offence to the lovely dogs out there), I think 2022 was a clean slate for DR at McLaren, and while the last two races he was nowhere, he hasn't been anywhere near as bad as last season. Lando can squeeze results out of it but said himself it's not a comfortable drive.
Daddy Brown is probably trying to light a fire under him, but I also think they're just not able to dodge questions or make excuses for him anymore.

i also think a lot of mclarens GT racing is more customer racing (teams buying mclarens to use) rather than mclaren actually running the team
Just putting it out there… I know somebody that drives in the BRSCC Mazda MX 5 championship and he may or may not have from Staines in his bio

My first thought after Lewis posted his story of karting with broken hand just afterwards was that he got jealous that young Lando is being praised for his toughness and wanted to remind the world of his tough races as well. It might have been a total coincidence in timing and Lewis message was meant to be encouraging to others, as many of his other ones, so I might be a bit unfair to him with my associations (sorry Lewis, the encouraging with postive mindset Sir
