also, checo has been an amazing teammate to max and essentially gave up a win for him in spain. max seemed genuinely happy and excited for him.

No he doesn’t, and even Max jokes about it. I don’t think either of them even realize that it’s abuse. I hope Max distances himself from his dad as soon as he can.
