I had no idea about his dad. How cruel to do that to his own father. I know he committed domestic abuse against his second wife but didn’t realise he did to Sophie. His father was abusive too. He and Jos assaulted a man at a karting track (broke his skull) about 20 years ago for example...

So, someone mentioned in the last thread that "people do use the term abusive pretty liberal these days anyway" which is definitely not true and quite harmful to say. False claims of abuse and trauma are extremely rare.

We all hear more about abuse now because people are starting to feel less stigmatised, a bit safer and more encouraged to come forward with their awful and triggering experiences. As there are more support communities available online and with therapists specialising in certain traumas and abuse. In saying that, just because someone appears a certain way... it doesn't mean they haven't been capable of things in the past and present. It's called manipulation and a false persona.

I'm saying this not to have a go... I think what really was meant is that they can't believe some of these wild headlines on articles about celebrities because sometimes they just write them for shock factor (which is ethically wrong on their behalf, if not true) but I did want to mention it as it can be interpreted the wrong way. I did just want to mention how lots of abusers can appear to be a certain way, but those who know or knew who they were in the past know who they really are. This post is just in general, coming from a place of peace and love, for anyone reading this who may be struggling and also mentioning for awareness.

By the way, I don't think Lewis is an abuser either but I think he might be quick to anger (and perhaps has since gone to therapy to learn to better deal with his outbursts). There are actually really some horrible people out there in the world but I agree, I don't really think he's one of them. I think there's a difference between having an unfortunate argument with someone vs. an abusive and physically assaulting/violently threatening someone.

The page @notkellypiquet seems kind of harsh, I came across it after Kelly requested everyone to report the other nasty meme page about her.

As in, I'm not sure why they are choosing to attack what she looks like. The focus should be on someone's character, whether they are a good or bad person by the way they act and treat others.

Kelly looks like she is exhausted and/or finished crying before taking this photo and posting it... I wonder when this was posted?

He seems very chill to me from the beginning. Is there evidence any clips of him going off? Cuz the words of an ex gf without proof Also, back to the nicole stuff, I used to watch uk x factor, i dont think she’s a very nice person, to me she seems really fake. I also heard she tried to push Lewis into proposing when he wasnt ready and went to his studio when he was recording and made fun of his music. Imagine if we heard one of the drivers locking out his gf in the middle of the night out of their apartment? Or making fun of her career? We’d literally call him an abuser and go off on him.

I didnt mean it in the way that many falsely claim to have been abused (though this does happen more often than you think), but that we are very quick these days to label every bad mood or argument (that's just how break ups are) as abuse, especially if it is done by man (as suri24 said further up, sometimes if you would switch the roles you'd still get the same reactions) and ignoring the possibility that abusive behavior of the other party may contribute to any fallout. You are actually saying the same here.

It is a small world and so bad. It makes you wonder why he was in it in light of what we have leaned about Epstein and business activities.
@Donald23 Lawrence and his new wife have been photographed at GPs. But it has been under the radar weirdly. I really thought he was still married to Claire! The split must have happened in the last few years as Lawrence and the new wife were photographed in 2019.

Yeah, I actually think a lot of the drivers seem to have tempers but naturally, a lot of us have tempers when we're being wronged or we have a lot on the line. I think there is a difference between having a temper/hissy fit and then having self-reflection. We are human and sometimes we have big emotions. Not to mention, Formula 1 is such a high-stress and extremely dangerous sport with a lot on the line.

I am still shocked about Jos and his father physically assaulted another karting driver so horribly that his skull was fractured. Wtf! Seems like he has quite the rap sheet but is wealthy enough to have people not mention it much. I think we are all glad Max takes after his mother Sophie in this case.

Here's an article that popped up when I searched his name, it seems like Max's dad is quite upset with Toto not calling him or Max to ask how he is. Understandable from a personal perspective but maybe he caught word from other people that Max is okay, so he didn't think to call straight away? I still think Toto is quite handsome

I really enjoy how Isa's Instagram feed is natural and she posts such normal photos.

I feel like Instagram is becoming too over-saturated with FaceTune edited photos and too 'structured' with themes, it really ruins what Instagram once was in a way. I still enjoy it but there's that pressure to always have 'perfect' photos instead of just candid and normal photos.

Has she ever posted photos with Carlos on her feed? I can't see any. Isa seems super low-key.
