You might be on to something here. Some men have an ego thing about it-like its emasculating that they couldn't get a girl themselves so they had to pay for one. another thing that makes me inclined to believe they’re paid for is that, especially in the ones like last week you can fully see Penelope’s face and generally nowadays paps will try to avoid capturing children without permission because they can get sued for it.
