I live very near to Birmingham airport and it’s not too bad here yet, so she might make it out.

She's just told the whole world her house is empty for a few days how stupid is she.
The thing is if she knows that she is going to miss them...which I don't believe she will anywhere near as much as she says why not take them with you like most parents. She has consciouly chosen not to so she can't miss them that much. They are your responsibility Nikki not your parents.

I agree, I couldn’t have gone off on a plane without my kids, I’d have wanted them to experience everything I did if they could. She could have taken them and them both have a nice night in a hotel aswell. Wouldn’t have been as interesting for the gram that though would it.

If you miss them so much then why didn’t you take them with you. I took my Son on holiday for my 40th. It wasn’t very relaxing because he was just beginning to start walking so I had to watch him all the time. There was no romantic meals but we had Prosecco and birthday cake in bed. It was the best holiday I’ve ever had in terms of memories. Loved every second. She pretends she enjoys motherhood but everything screams I shouldn’t have had kids and I resent them.
