Yes our school have changed it to both parents being critical workers and must be at work in school hours. Sadly I think it may have been abused somewhat during the last lockdown.
Same. We both are but I’m still on mat leave until half term but I’ve said they will need a place after half term if it continues. My son also has an ehcp so we have made the decision to send him. He had a 1:1 TA and he needs intensive 1:1. I cannot homeschool him and look after the other two :( and he has started to make progress this year. He missed 6 months last year, he’s already working at year 1 level and he’s year 4. I was also supposed to do some KIT days this term but I’m assuming they won’t happen but that’s why I’m awake at this time with anxiety. I’ve been off on mat leave I have no clue how to teach in covid times. I’ve missed the entire pandemic (thankfully) but I’m not great with new technology 😂 I knew my previous technology for teaching I was ok with that. Sorry totally late night ramblings. I know ultimately I’m lucky to have been able to stay at home so far but now the reality is hitting me.

I get she would of paid for it however I’v seen a few insta huns not sending their toddlers back to nursery as they don’t want to risk it. Maybe I’m just jealous ill be looking after my toddlers all the time on my own 😂😂😂

Her preachy, screech of a voice telling people to focus on their goals and the promo of that bleach blonde, twin set prick are so embarrassing it’s unreal.

ALSO... Someone tell her that if she’s dRaWinG ThE LiNe, counting syns/calories/grams of bleeping protein and/or measuring her body, taking body checking photos and walking for hours to “get steps in” then it’s a diet with an aim of losing weight and she is 100282726272882% NOT FINE.

Go on Flopps, focus on your goals, count them calories whilst we count the bleeping pennies!
This new lockdown could be disaster for the firm dh works for, its a small family business and last March they had him on part time hours for most of the lockdown. I fear this time the business will suffer badly and he may be out of work. I emailed my team leader last night asking for as much overtime as he could give and if there was a chance of dh getting a job with me, i would even train him up! Long shot i know but i got so wound up last night.
Dh doesn't seem worried as if the business folds he would get 10 years of redundancy, get on an agency and work any job until something permanent comes along. I wish i had his optimism 😳
I am glad that my mum has managed to get delivery slots for her shopping for the next two weeks at least. Shes gone right savvy online recently and thinks shes bill gates 🤣 so thats one thing thats good.

Sorry to vent guys but just feel utter shite as most of us maybe do right now 😫😫

Edited to say...on a bus travelling to my non essential job, just stuck a playlist on shuffle and cypress hill came on...hit from the bong...bloody need it!! 🥴🥴🥴 music actually makes you feel a bit better.

I’m a long time lurker here and usually love reading this thread, but the comment about nurseries should only open for key workers really irked me.

I work from home, as well as doing an apprenticeship (that I have to complete during work hours) I’m not a key worker but my work requires a high level of concentration. My husband works for the NHS but home based at the moment, and spends his entire day on stressful calls. There is absolutely no way we can do our jobs with our toddler at home.

Key workers are amazing and I’m so grateful to each and every one of them, but please remember that there are still hundreds of thousands of people working that don’t get the title “key worker” and have to continue somehow.

I totally agree that Fopps uses and abuses the system. She doesn’t need a childcare bubble, especially when she does NOT have a job! Dicking about making reels on Instagram isn’t a job (thought it was a hobby anyways?!).

Anyways. Sorry for my rant.. back into the shadows I go! X

Even if she has paid in advance for nursery sessions to the end of January, surely she would weigh up what was more important? Losing a few hundred pounds, or keeping your boys, yourself, husband, Mum, Dad, Grandad, etc, safe from a more contagious virus variant? Obviously everyone's health is not her top priority!

Fopps hasn’t cared about the pandemic since day 1 so she’s not going to care now! Me and my partner are both key workers so our little one will be going to the childminder but she’s put new precautions in place for drop off etc and had said please DO NOT send your child unless absolutely necessary!
Fopps doesn’t have to send the boys as they are BOTH at home but she is the most selfish person ever and will do it to make sure she gets her ME time!

I wouldn’t let it bother you. I made the comments and I apologies if yiu Took offence but when Someone is sending their kids for the sake of jumping in a jelly pot or me Time I think it takes the piss. a lot off parents with toddlers need a break but now isn’t the time. it’s that old saying just because you can doesn’t mean you Should. Your situation is totally different. I wouldn’t even begrudge someone sending their toddler if their husband is at work and they have home schooling or what ever. With fopps they are both off, they have a garden which is basically a park, she can buy every toy to entertain them. so she doesn’t need me time

We need to remember about the nursery staff. My daughter is a nursery nurse and been sent home twice to self isolate as exposed to kids with the virus, she had to use holidays then SSP. I get that folks have paid for it but when kids don't need to go they are adding to the chances of spreading the virus.

Think here lies the problem people who’ve abused the system and continued to send their kids when it really isn’t needed as one/both parents aren’t working or doing “jobs” like Fopps. So in reality just using it as a break from their kids.

My problem doesn’t like with any parent actually working it’s people but there needs to be some kind of line drawn. As people like Fopps and many many others abuse the system. X

This as well! People working there are taking a risk often unnecessarily. X

100% agree! Looks like that jelly pot jumping might have been the end of her jelly career. Seen that Sophie Jude’s newest jelly ad?! You never know tho Fopps could still surprise us yet ha

My friend works In a nursery she said staff have gone off because they are classed as vunerable and need to sheild so now she said they have the same amount of children coming in with less staff 🤦 so it's tough on the nursery staff to isn't it . she said last time it was easier to manage as only key worker's children were allowed to go which meant that less staff didn't make a difference as it was manageable

She is also putting her grandad at risk by shipping her kids to her mum’s house, when her mum then looks after her grandad. I didn’t think you could mix bubbles but whether you can or can’t, she is being selfish by taking the kids out all the time then fobbing them off to someone else

You definitely cant the guidance is clear now even if it wasn't before (although it was to everyone else but her)

mad mazza needs to make a decision to EITHER
1 Bow to Princess Shitshoe (PSS) and create a childcare support bubble or
2 care for her dad in a bubble.

SHE CANNOT DO BOTH and she cannot meet up with PSS in a house or a park either if she chooses option 2 and if she doesnt choose option 2 then she is as as bad as PSS
