Maybe wishful thinking on my part but I’m reading the second part as United looking into what can be done with regards to bringing the club into disrepute or something. Hopefully.View attachment 1930395

The problem is that from a PR point of view paying him anything looks bad.I'd assume it's more likely they go for a mutual termination maybe giving him more settlement money so the club can dress it up as a straight termination. He has at least breached their code of conduct, surely.
That's how I reading it as well. So I'm hoping there looking at the best way to let him goMaybe wishful thinking on my part but I’m reading the second part as United looking into what can be done with regards to bringing the club into disrepute or something. Hopefully.
I agree but if they just put out a bare bones 'left the club by mutual consent' that is almost as painless as it can be. If they straight up terminate him even with good cause there is a chance of legal appeal I think, drags it out more. The problem is that from a PR point of view paying him anything looks bad.
