I have Waterford Crystal wine and champagne glasses (feel like such a boujee witch when I use them) but they tend to have pretty big sales on them where I’m from. Like 50% off, so keep your eye open for those! LOVE the gin balloon ones Fleur got.
I honestly find it wild that she still gets gifted so many things for Christmas as an adult. I can’t imagine being her age and receiving a sports bra and leggings (that I had obviously picked out) from my brother and his family lol. The way she speaks about the things that X, Y and Z person “got me for Christmas” reminds me of the way the toddlers in my family speak about what they got for Christmas

I find that even odder given that technically she is so wealthy she can literally 'gift' herself anything that she wants, at any time!
It is a bit odd. I tell my husband not to bother, the money is coming from the same pot anyways! I should probably make some effort! My sister & I decided to go for a nice meal when we see eachother after Covid. I’m glad tbh it’s cuts out a lot of hassle & the rush of wasting money on stuff people don’t want. It’s always nice to get a treat but Fleur can afford whatever she wants.

I agree. Myself and my siblings have an agreement not to buy each other gifts and instead (pre covid, not this year) meet up for a meal and drinks. We also all have 1 child each and we came to the agreement not to buy each others kids gifts at Xmas as they already get so much already. I usually like Fleur and trust that she is genuine but her '2020 - Best in Beauty' video is just a very long list of all the brands she worked with / was sponsored by this year...complete with an affiliate link for every single item.
I don't think there were a single item she bought herself. Maybe the face halos?

Call me a sceptic but this video was just a massive cash grab. I don't think any of these products were genuine recommendations.

She seems to have a pretty specific list of wishes for her birthday and Christmas when it comes to gifts from Mike. In previous years she would mention how he got her a pair of shoes or a bag she wanted but it wasn't the correct color or size. But it was always something she wanted to have. So I'm guessing he doesnt get her just something he thinks would look nice, but it's an occasion for another "investment" bag :-D which is weird because she buys shoes and bags in that same prize range all year long.
I am more shocked by the presents from friends. Who does that at her age, and if you do, why more than a box of chocolates or something ? I clearly am not part of their rich circle of friends
I feel for Fleur tonight (and anyone who is having fertility issues). Feel like there's been pregnancy announcements left, right and centre.
I really do feel for anyone struggling with fertility issues right now, it feels like everywhere I look someone is announcing they're pregnant - both online and in real life.
As in, influencers? Who's newly announced they're pregnant, if you don't mind me asking?
As for feeling sorry for Fleur or anyone with fertility issues....I agree. Sadly, the age of social media makes it very hard sometimes for anyone in that situation and influencers certainly add to that because once pregnant, their content becomes exclusively all about babies for a while (or forever in many cases) and that can be hard to watch. It was one of the reasons I unfollowed Fleur a few years ago when her content was all about baby stuff.
I just saw her favorite video is out and as usual with these types of videos I stopped it and just read through the list in the description box and...ALL of her mentioned products were gifted??
At the end of the day I’m sure other people felt that way when she announced she was having River. She can’t have it all to suit her all of the time. Social media is just a highlights reel of an individuals life anyway, anyone who gets upset by what they see online needs to remember that.
ETA: you also don’t know if those who have just announced they’re pregnant have battled to get to this stage.

and I do agree with the above poster. Maybe it’s just because Fleur has been open about her struggles while many arent (totally understandable as well). Like Fleur has mentioned before, she’s still happy for people announcing pregnancies but it still hurts.
It sucks, but you learn to deal with it.
