I just posted a teeny harmless comment on the mini horse video (shocked it's still there) Reading some of the fuckin idiotic comments, I find it hard to believe that more than a tiny handful of people are THAT dumb. I believe Ass & the pig are getting more negative comments than ever before but ... how many humpers are there? I mean, 10s or 100s?

The mindset necessary to believe complete & utter BS instead of what is shown in front of their eyes .. makes the thought of hordes of humpers in the wild a scary thought.

That’s exactly what he’s saying. I’m sure he didn’t mean to. It must be incredibly hard to maintain the con job narrative that she is making progress. Especially when she can’t play along.

He thinks if she has a disability he owns and controls the narrative for all people who are disabled. Newsflash, they aren’t the only family dealing with disability. Some of us just keep going to our day jobs and do our best to get through every day without becoming miserable assholes. Some days are definitely harder than others. Still don’t have a YouTube channel that exploits my brother. So I’m doing okay.

Oh look it's another one of my Long Posts!!

There's something important to understand about Asa and people like him.

The words he says(types, etc) don't actually mean what their conventional definitions indicate they mean.

When speaking to an ingroup (the leghumpers, in his case), words only mean what the speaker wants them to mean in that exact moment. In one video, Abbie "learns" the word horse. She seems to pick it up with ease - and, honestly, she probably does in the moment. Whether she retains that word is a whole other subject. In the comments of the same video, he says that just because a word is available to her doesn't mean she'll "learn" it.
There's a separate contradiction in those statements as well. She has every possible word on her app for her to use. She doesn't(can't) use every word on the app.

Now, understand:
He's not talking to us.
He knows it doesn't make sense. He's not trying to convince tattlers or casual viewers.
He's saying these things to keep his ingroup - the core base of leghumpers - engaged and watching and commenting. He spits out contradictions and lies to critics to give the leghumpers a framework with which to spring to Abbie's(his) defense. Think of it like marching orders; he identifies a target, or the characteristics of a target, then he says whatever he needs to be true in that moment and the leghumpers parrot what he says.

Another facet of his contradictory and imprecise language use is that it keeps his ingroup a little off balance.
It's like gaslighting. The leghumpers are never quite sure what Abbie can or cannot do, and if they see something that doesn't quite sit right Asa's right there to say whatever needs to be said in that moment to muddy the waters. Rather than actually question the blatant contradictions, the leghumpers take comfort in an explanation from Asa that works for that particular situation. Look at how quickly she learned horse, she's making so much progress!! She has access to many thousands of words! She can't possibly learn the meanings of all of those words because she's an autistic typical teenager!!

His words aren't for us. His contradictions aren't for us.

HOWEVER.

It's actually fairly important that the contradictions are pointed out. I don't mean important in any grand scheme of things, but a running narrative documenting these things is valuable for those on the periphery of the ingroup (meaning, those who aren't quite leghumpers yet but are on their way to it) and others who have feelings that something is off. It's how leghumpers get pulled back from the ledge, how things like Patreon subs and merch buys decrease, how people know they're not just overreacting to the discomfort they feel watching this clown show.

He's "not a cider fan." He "had a few sips of a couple."

Any leghumper who might be feeling a little weirded out by that enormous tray of alcohol while they're on a cross country roadtrip alone with their severely disabled daughter now has something to calm that voice in their head, and a framework for jumping on anyone who might say anything negative about the drinking.

It doesn't matter that he's liked cider in the past, that they've enjoyed cider in Boone....what matters is right now, in this moment, there's something to quiet that little voice of doubt.

Whale, I’m 62 (next week!) weigh 200lbs so overweight, had wls 20 yrs ago and lost 80lbs and happily stay at this weight +/- 10lbs. I have to use a mobility scooter as the type of cancer I have (CLL) takes the calcium and the over production of white blood cells out of my shin bones, and I have chronic fatigue, CRPS etc.
Most mobility scooters have a weight limit on them of 250lbs as electric batteries can be quite heavy, and adding extra human weight etc, will slow the scooters right down to a crawl, and the life span of the batteries would be severely compromised!
Could you imagine a drunk Cillame behind the wheel of a mobility scooter, and running into people and mowing them down, or Abbie gets loose on one?

This was the most boring, uninspired, monotone 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Oh my god. I did NOT think they could get any less likeable. I was wrong.
