My understanding is, and I live in tier 3 too is that you can leave your tier but the same rules apply, so I can go and shop in tier 2 as I can do that here, but I couldn't go into a restaurant or pub as they are closed in my tier. so she is allowed to shop etc but should not be dining, which she is,. or meeting up with anyone indoors

It's been reported today that police are stopping cars travelling from Tier 3 to Tier 2 and asking drivers where they are going and why and if their reasons aren't compatible with the recommendations they say action may be taken against them. The recommendations are for people not to to travel from one tier to another.

My understanding is that if you live in a tier 3 area you shouldn't be leaving your area unnecessarily as the idea is to contain and stop the spread. If people from a tier 3 area travel to a tier 1 or 2 they could be unknowingly spreading covid. Obviously you can catch it in any tier you are in however being in tier 3 means it is more prevalent in your area so you have a higher chance of catching it.
I suspect the reason she is travelling is for work purposes however it is not really essential or necessary considering all of these 'meetings' i.e. visiting the soho home store and having a personal shopping experience at Alex Monroe can all happen over zoom. If I was the police officer stopping her, I'd laugh and send her back home.
She is such a twit! If she wants the just roll cinnamon swirls to taste more like cinnamon she can add her own in, it really isn't that difficult and the icing sugar was thin because she put far too much water in with it. She is such a snob

Yep. Same here - I already posted on this thread, that she is flouting the rules. She should not be leaving her tier (the HIGHEST one) in Warwickshire, and should not be socialising whether inside or outside, as she did at Bicester. If she has a mainly American audience, she probably thinks that they won't know this but those of us in the UK DO know it.
