On the Dubai podcast Georgie and Darren confirm that Mia only does “the basics” with an online tutor, and they let her specialise and she’s growing a social media business
That is terrible, I am sorry I don't like to bring the children up but why would a 14-year-old girl be allowed to do just the basics in school but left to grow a social media business. She spends more time making the videos than doing any school work.
I was hopeless at school hence my grammar and spelling so I made damn sure my children work hard. They are an adult forever and a child for only a few years let them be children. Mia is going to come down to earth with a huge bump.
Watching Georgie and Darren is like nails down a blackboard to me. Initially I liked their earnest and honest approach to life but as soon as they moved to the U.K. they became unbearable. They are so juvenile and when I saw them doing unfunny prank calls with the kids watching that was The End for me. They’re sooooo fake it hurts. Also I think all this show of ‘the kids are just getting one present’ is utter crap and only for the camera. Mia is very odd, with a weird way of talking, having your Mum as you only friend strikes me as a recipe for disaster.
Just in case it’s not clear, I literally can’t stand them but I can see why their immaturity appeals to tweens. When Darren is caught doing something weird I will not be surprised, or maybe tax evasion ?
Did anyone here watch them at the start? The first vlog I watched was them moving to Gran Canaria and I thought they seemed like an amazing family. Once they moved back to Brighton everything changed soooo suddenly. I rarely watch them anymore but the odd vlog I watch they seem to be more and more...erratic? I don’t know how to explain it. But their behaviours are so weird. It’s like they want to live this free hippy life whilst also acting luxurious. Last time I watched them properly they were living as minimalists and for Xmas in Gran Canaria the girls got one small present each, but look at them now!!!
I did, and I feel the same. It’s sad really because I quite liked them in their Gran Canaria days. It’s almost as if their indoctrination within the Jehovah’s Witnesses and subsequent release from that has caused them severe mental problems. So much so, that they now feel the need to create their own ‘cult’ of the Fizz Fam, with its ‘Toby’ phrase and worshippers buying their ‘merch’. It’s bad enough seeing the manic behaviours of Georgie & Darren, but knowing how this upbringing is going to severely impact on their daughters too. It will be like history repeating itself when they one by one grow up and rebel against such a restrictive and controlling environment. Not to mention the isolation they must feel from family and friends (the latter not really being allowed by the parents). Very very sad.
This is the first time I have commented on this family on here. I have mentioned in passing when people say how wonderful they are compared to the Inghams that all family vloggers need banning. They are pimping their kids out. After watching that video just then about Karma going unconscious I think they are every bit as bad as the Inghams. If your child has been unconscious even once you do not fkin rely on Dr. Google to diagnose them. Are they really that thick that they don't realise that Karma could have anything wrong with her that only a medical professional would be able to tell. I am sorry but no, no excuses! That is total neglect not to get her checked out the first time it happened. Perhaps if they spent more than 5 minutes in one place they might be known to a GP surgery.
It’s so beyond irresponsible it’s practically child endangerment and neglect. My daughter had a febrile convulsion when she was about 13 months old, and even though my husband IS a doctor, we still took her to the hospital to get checked - just in case.
What is Darren’s history? Pre - being a druggy

The problem with Mia is, they don’t have normal parents/daughter roles, she’s not treated as a “daughter” she’s another adult in their world. She looks after karma, runs a channel that’s just as successful as the main channel really, runs her own instagram, she “works from home” just like Darren and Georgie.
In a weird way I can see Darren resenting this in a while. Especially if she does release a book in the near future.
I really get the feeling he will be jealous of anyone getting more attention than him.
He always (ever so subtly) puts Georgie down or makes digs at her intelligence/what she says. And he does the same with Mia at times too.
I HATE to admit it because i used to hate them but i actually do now like them.
They are a decent family and quite genuine.
Freedom family on the other hand... yuck. Jojo is a spoilt little brat.. the mum is bland and the dad is just cringy.

Still ridiculous though, I doubt the syllabus is the same as her previous school. Those girls need a proper education and time for it. They would have plenty of time for trips abroad in the holidays if the family want to travel but they shouldn’t be messing with the kids education. YouTube won’t bring the money in forever and the whole family need to consider how they will support themselves once their income dries up.

Mia hinted that she might like a boyfriend for 2019 as she's 'turning fifteen this year' and Darren pipes up with 'I think fifteen is quite late to get a boyfriend'- really Darren? Think of all the young predominantly female audience you have and the influence that has on them- what ever happened to treasure others be yourself- now all the girls that watch them that are around MIa's age are likely to think there's something 'wrong' with them or that it's 'too late' to have a boyfriend....Just a totally unecassary comment on his part I feel.
Mia would also like a make up line as well, highlighting her difficulties in finding her right shades in make up- which isn't a bad goal for her to have.
I like them much more than the inghams or the saccone-jolys but agree regarding filming kids. I do think they are clever though and clearly don’t film all day long and have catalogue videos to upload each day. They all have some privacy at least.
I do like their positivity it’s much nicer for children rather than the hate that seems to come from the ifam.
Wish they would stop with the merch flogging as well - especially as it’s made by sboodle same as the inghams.
I respected them at the beginning of Chris Ingham allegations as they removed them from social media straight away, but now find their silence really irritating. They have the same fans they should speak out to educate kids on social media. Don’t even need to name names just speak out to protect children.
This la home is 3 times the size of the Brighton huge home. Pool, hot tub, cinema room, sawna, guest cottage, children's ensuites and two washing machine / driers so even in la they can carry on tumble drying everything.
Sarah Ingham must be furious, espically seeing how much quicker their subs are growing.
LA is such a terrible place for children to be there for three months, it's not even like they are going to be doing much travelling.

First post on this thread. I'm gonna probably be devil's advocate, but I quite like them... Sorry!
I think it's because of everything from their past. I get a lot of people have a past, and do well for themselves. I admire all people that have managed to turn it around and make something of themselves.
Yeah, they're irritating as hell sometimes. But they're bloody smart! Ultimately this is their livelihood, and they've developed and adapted to their audience. The challenges etc - they get huge views. They're very clever and know how to make their money.... But I don't think they waste their money. There's still a vast difference between them and the Ingham's - they are careful with what they spend on, hence why they can spend thousands in rent each month (they're last Brighton house was between 2-4 thousand pound pcm to rent).
I find Mia a little materialistic at times. But a typical teenager.... However, very switched on - and making her own money with her successful channel. Sienna is my fav. I hope she never changes.
Might be an unpopular opinion. I just quite like them ? and I don't think they'd ever sway away from veganism. Although I did find it very bizarre that they would choose a home with animals on the wall that they couldn't remove.
I like the Norris nuts. But again money have become the most important thing. How many challenged have they done now involving money
when in LA they went to the Apple shop and got what they wanted.
i will never understand veganism. You don’t kill a cow for milk, a chicken for an egg etc. And a cow lactated for as long as the milk is pumped. They do NOT take the calf away. the eggs from a chicken are not fertilised. Therefore are not living.
My daughter has been a strict vegetarian for over 2 years now so no meat or gelatin and she says she feels much healthier for it plus she loves animals and doesn’t think it’s fair that they don’t get a choice. She’d like to go full vegan but is going to wait until she is older. She has done a lot of research into both subjects. Obviously they do not kill the cows/chickens etc for eggs or milk, but it is more the overall welfare of the animal.
Calf’s are sometimes taken from their mothers very young and the cow is given hormones to keep up milk supply not to

Chickens naturally would only lay approx 12 eggs a year however they are then injected with hormones so they produce more which must be awful TBH. Once the chicken can’t produce any more eggs they are then killed.
I’m a meat eater but am slowly trying vegetarian options as I am beginning to understand her reasons
Mia was complaining on the 24 hour in the bath challenge of Mia’s Life, about you tube turning her comments off. But there is a time stamp on this video at around 6.06 where you can see down her top for a split second. Do they not realise that turning the comments off was to stop this type of thing happening. I have reported the comment so hopefully it will get deleted
To me, it feels like they’re on the run from something. They can’t settle and live a normal life. Maybe it’s something to do with the drug taking previously? Maybe it has messed with their systems and given them all this nervous energy, whereby they can’t be stable, normal people. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something’s not right with them.
I refuse to watch them anymore, they’re no better than any other youtube family, the only difference is they build their “brand” on the back of being a vegan/fitness channel, they had fans that believed they had morals and supported the message they were sending out. but they’ve slowly became one of the worst “family channels” around. They don’t have merchandise they have positive messages to share with their fizzfam it’s just gonna cost ya to be positive

Darren could tell you night was day and make it sound believable. I keep saying it I get such a bad feeling from him. Georgia isn’t so natural when it comes to lying, she’s shifty, stumbling over her words and looking in all directions.
Mia sounds Helium-American. That’s not a thing but it is now.
The day they took sienna out of school and moved to soulless LA was the last time I watched them. that kid needs to be with others IN education. I’m not saying anything against home schooling but she has the personality that needs to be in a classroom learning and interacting with others.
Not shopping in supermarkets for the next 24hr challenge.

Believe it or not Family Fizz our ever faithful vegan, minimalist, ethical, environmentally friendly British family YouTubers who sadly have completely lost sight of their core values.
This video has been deleted from their channel (I cannot imagine for the life of me why??) it captures why we fell in love with Family Fizz initially, many of us were enlightened by the charming nature of their early vloggs, which came across as informative, sincere and honest set in a British family environment.
Goofy Georgie Fizz now a twerking mother of three has become a shopaholic and is no longer selective about the ethics of the retailers they choose to (promote) shop with at all, encouraging Mia and young impressionable viewers into excessive consumerism the complete opposite of minimalism. Why an earth would you buy lingerie from Victoria Secrets at the age of 13.

Dopey Darren Fizz ? is developing stars/???in his eyes. He seems to be obsessed with making money regardless of the fact that he has very little in the way of skills and natural talent. He is very calculating and converts everything into cash. "I am going to say yes to everything (that'll make me lots of dosh)!"Let's see how long it takes for him to start saying no. "Look at this walk in wardrobe, we can use it as a merch area!" "Look at those musical instruments, (we can't sing for toffee or strum a tune but) we've got to make up a Family Fizz song!" Cringe (Well Logan and Jake do it so we of course must follow in their footsteps we have already nicked their theme tunes, sound effects, style of vlogging and plugging merch every 5 minutes. Might as well go the whole hog/sweet potato and move to LA and move into a massive mansion.) Fancy using Logan Paul as a role model, Darren you just got lucky and the key to your success are the kids, which you decisively foresaw the opportunity to conceive Kharma to get more views. I pray that Sienna holds on to her sweet personality for as long as possible because the constant uprooting is dreadful. I fear Mia will never know what a normal upbringing is.To have lifelong friends who you can identify with, a teacher who you lookup to, a room to get attached to, a space to call your own a favourite spot to hang out and privacy, just the basic little things to make you whole, she has already developed a strange speech pattern and grins nervously bearing all her teeth. Mia is still very young and needs just as much special attention at home as Sienna and Kharma. In some aspects it's nice to see they can spoil Mia a bit more owing to the fact that Georgie was only three years older than Mia is now when she had her, and abused drugs and alcohol before Sienna came along. Maybe that's why Georgie tries to over compensate for the bad times, money cannot bring you joy.
On a lighter note I wish them all the best on their new chapter and hope they will someday come back to us.

I wonder if Darren would have been so quick to brand 15 late to have a boyfriend if they had been talking about Sienna or Karma (obviously in years to come I mean). Seems with Mia he has a very clear ‘you’re not my daughter’ vibe. Which given how young Mia would have been when she met him and how she doesn’t seem to have much of a relationship with her dad is pretty sad. Hardly a good example of ‘treasure others’.
This makes me truly sad.I watched their vlog (sorry ,can`t remember the title ,this was just included ifrc) ,where Darren was telling how Mia has asked him if she could call him Dad.(She was around Sienna`s age).He refused on the grounds it w as "disrespectful to HER "FATHER"!!!! What ,the one she`s never seen/had contact with Darren?Yeh Gods and little fishes!What a pathetic excuse to use on a small child. Plus he`d been living with her mother ,had another baby with her by then ,and was obviously intending to stay with her.Now they have a new little girl Mia still doesn`t get to call him "dad" (tho` she`d obviously be happy doing so ,as she`s slipped up a few times).
When i first watched this couple ,i had respect for them ,picking themselves up out of a bad situation ,and making a decent life for themselves & their children.Now it`s clear to me he has a controlling streak.Watch Georgies face when he`s talking ,and she interupts. I`ve been watching "Dexter" ,and he`s not that angry looking when he`s out on the "hunt"! Oh ,and btw ,you made a vlog several years back ,which was MIA`S idea.Maybe worth remembering that Darren!!!
