When she eventually passes away, there is going to be a huge amount of people complicit in her passing, which is so sad and irresponsible of them. The girls life must be absolutely hell.

You can already see yellowing of her eyes in some photos, I know she edits them but you can tell. Her veins bulging out are awful. I’d give her a month at best.
There's an even bigger difference in her appearance these last few days. Her body will be fighting to stay alive at this point surely.

I find updates about this thread stressful to look at sometimes, like others here I'm sure, I'm expecting bad news.
I was just scrolling Tattle and saw this thread had been updated so went to check out Eugenia’s Instagram which I haven’t done for a long time. I’m a nurse, I work on a children’s ward (in the UK) and we see quite a lot of teenagers with EDs who come to us for psychiatrist reviews, supervision of meal plans, to wait for referrals to specialist units etc. Not ONE of the patients I’ve ever met has looked as unwell as Eugenia does, and I’ve had patients who have had to be NG tube fed because they’ve refused to eat, been sectioned, and sent to a tier 4 unit. I guess it’s a little different because the patients we see are minors and they usually end up with us because their parents are concerned and need extra help - but I JUST CANNOT comprehend how Eugenia has been allowed to get this unwell. It’s not like she lives alone and her intake can’t be supervised or monitored, why aren’t her family doing anything?! They will be complicit in her death - and looking at her most recent photos, she will absolutely die from this. I’m honestly shocked she has enough energy to stand. All of our ED patients have to be on strict bed rest and have to be pushed in a wheelchair to even go to the bathroom, and they have to have their heart rate monitored particularly at night because it will drop so low when they sleep that they are in danger of cardiac arrest. And NONE of them have had a body weight as low as hers. She will be in multiple organ failure and even if by some miracle she gets help and recovers, she will likely have permanent organ damage. She won’t recover though because she doesn’t want to, and you can’t force someone to engage no matter how hard you try. Sorry for the long post but I am absolutely FLOORED at what she looks like, and there are literal children in her comments like “I wish I was you”, like how can Instagram not see how damaging allowing her a platform is? She’s seriously unwell and we’re all just watching her die.

Eugenia's mother is mentally ill and a danger to her daughter. No sane mother would go along with this. But because Eugenia is over 18 the authorities can't intervene. Heartbreaking.
The police here in the States can't detain or arrest someone unless they are suicidal or violent. Her mother knows this and that's why she drove Eugenia to the police instead of the nearest hospital emergency room.

They are clearly extremely wealthy though ....their house for a start is mansion-like. They've not just made money from Eugenia's 'fame'. They could pay for the best treatment facilities and rehab.
Her father is a financial executive in Manhattan so I don’t think they rely on her income. They definitely have enough money to get her into the best kind of longterm facility. She is an adult and cannot be forced into treatment, however, since she lives in their home and is totally dependent on them I don’t understand why they don’t put consequences on her refusing to get help, such as get help or move out. They have that power and in CT could even petition the court to get conservatorship over her. It’s disgusting that they do nothing. I sincerely believe that her mother is mentally ill and doesn’t want Eugenia to get help because then she might actually become a healthy adult (physically and mentally) and move on with her own life. She is never going to get well as long as she continues to live with that woman. It’s really sad.
Social media companies need to take some responsibility, not for causing her illness but for essentially allowing her to profit from it and as a result it validates it and gives her platform, it's not only dangerous for her but others that look up to her. If they stopped her channel and the income and 'fame' it generates I believe she would have a better chance at really assessing her situation and attempting some sort of treatment, she'll never do it as long as she gets a platform for it. I do think there is a strange dynamic between her and the mum, she seems to want to keep her like a little girl, which explains a lot l. It's truly shocking to see a young girl slowly dying in front of your eyes with seemingly no concern for herself.

I know that Eugenia makes money from YT and IG but don't social media companies also make money from her posts? If they disable her platforms they would lose revenue themselves. It all comes down to the $$$$. At least that's my theory as to why she is still allowed to post.
Thats why she regularly trends on YouTube. They're vile and also enablers.
Yet there are people who still defend her and say she is fine or their go to comeback is ‘do you comment on overweight people too’
I agree - as another trained children's nurse, I have met countless anorexic girls and not one who looked this bad.
I think she should have been taken away from her parents when she was minor if they encourage her
I've been keeping an eye on her for years now. Her mother is a disgusting witch. She enables this, colludes with it and encourages it. Sadly I have worked with quite a few ED cases in my time and quite a lot of them have had similar relationships with their parent (absolutely not the case for all or even many, but certainly a significant pattern we have seen anecdotally). I would bet every penny I have there are serious attachment issues going on.
Sectioning works a bit differently the UK. Here she would be in hospital, no question. In the US it's more complicated, especially with private healthcare.
Unfortunately, I don't se her surviving this until she gets away from her Mum.
