She is very very bitter about the life she left behind. It's so clear she doesn't want any reminder or mention of it. Estee, all that money you are making is because of all the people that watched and followed you back when you were Essie Button. I get it that you have grown up, we all change but wow that response.

Yeah she definitely thought it was a great clap back, but it’s rude and cringe. I don’t think the commenter said anything so bad, as it’s plain to see Estee mostly delivers paid for content. It’s not personal development which means she can’t post more videos that aren’t sponsored or filled with aff links.


With other influencers they will talk about new expensive purchases, but I’ve noticed Estee doesn’t talk about the luxury items which casually show up in her outfit pics. She’s had a new loewe and Chanel handbag show up recently, and can sometimes be wearing head to toe designer. But she’ll aff linking to death the topshop bits her users will buy. I think in parts it’s to not completely alienate her audience who are paying for her lifestyle, but she doesn’t realise how nobody can relate to her anyway and she’s alienated herself. Especially with comments like this!

I don't think anyone said that she should go back to her country, actually Estee outside the UK is a no one, her chanel got stuck in amount of followers, if anything according to social blade she is losing huge amount of them per day. Toronto has it's own magic and is bloody expensive to live there but again is not like Estee had a life back in Canada, when she got asked about a photo of her prom she got extremely bitchy saying that she didn't go because she hated high school, I'm pretty sure she has never finished it.
Any girl on her 30s having an own gorgeous apartment in Central London, a lot of money doing fuck all, being gifted shit by fancy brands all the time would be extremely grateful of life with or without a guy. The problem of Estee is that she has never really had a purpose or goal in life, she was a waster living in her mum basement smoking weed, met a guy online never asked from where all the money came from but hey a free road trip arpund America then the chance to move to London in a huge house you haven't put a penny for, start blogging as excuse of having a job...
Her mental issues and bitchy unhappiness is because ahe never ever worked or did an effort to achieve any goal, even as a blogger youtuber was Aslan who did the most, she takes everything for granted an obviously her life feels empty that would be in London, NY, Toronto or anywhere she goes.

No, not for several years now. It’s clear the connection she has with viewers is based on a parasocial attachment that Estée deliberately manipulates (when she feels up to it) to keep follower numbers up for her own benefit. She uses that idea of an ‘attachment’ from viewers to simply to make money for herself and for that reason only. She shows no interest in anything that isn’t, basically, herself, her looks, and makeup/clothes/presents that are given to her.

Even when she talks about friends (I say that because those are the only other people she ever really mentions, as if the world is made up of Estée, her friends, and her facialist, hair stylist, and acupuncturist), she never really seems interested in the richness or depth of adult friendship or anything, it’s like friends are nice items to have in her orbit that make her look good. When they leave her orbit she pretends as though they didn’t exist and are of no more use to her. She shows NO interest in ANY issue in the world, even in a year such as this. Everything she ever talks about comes back to her and her superficial outlook, and yet somehow everything is always terrible for her and with every privilege she’s given, she acts as though of course she should have this as a balm for her tortured soul.

I used to find her annoying at times but perhaps well intentioned, sometimes compelling, and a bit immature, etc. Now, I see literally no redeeming quality in her. I don’t get why she has followers but reading the comments on her YT or Insta, it’s clear people are projecting an idea of a girl that isn’t actually there.

I feel like I’m living in another world from these people. Back and forth from Europe, facial treatments in between, group parties and group holidays for birthdays because of course you can’t sacrifice at all. Whew. And people thought she’d be sulky not getting a birthday holiday this year but she’s had two and counting.

I looked up the Marie Drago woman and she def sets off my gaydar but who knows, also her and Estée have a flirty vibe going on their Instagrams and doing the flirty ‘who was the photographer’ and ‘got tips from the best on how to pose’ thing on the bridge photos. Estée has also left hearts on her Insta since about July. But I haven’t seen any pics of them together.

Ok I've just watched her peloton stories. God, she's so unlikable, I'm sorry but I find her just really unpleasant these days.
Anyway, she had clearly made that decision before doing the stories and that whole "I'm not going to do it, I'm thinking about it, it's SO expensive" spiel was not as cute as she thinks. She just wanted to confirm for herself that her followers are the kind of people who can't afford a peloton. Everything that is expensive and promises some sort of exclusivity is worth getting in her eyes.

This is especially grotesque of her to say because she is literally rich af and most definitely did not have money worries no matter what the ad situation was for literally just a few weeks. And to make out as though she was actually impacted and ~worried~ at the start of the pandemic which has actually devastated millions is disgusting when she’s only doing so to deflect a tiny bit of criticism over the amount of ads she does now. In reality, she has likely never in her life had actual money worries. This girl literally slept through the summer instead of working and is still raking in hundreds of thousands.
