But she does plan the majority of her videos? and so what if some of them are quick videos just showing what she is doing that day, that is what makes her content great. Especially when you get the feeling you could do it yourself and its nice it isnt big productions like some others, because then you never get the feeling you could try it yourself.? Not to mention the everyday stuff is just as fun to watch as big ass planned videos showing her do something fun. Its the random yard videos that are the most fun. Not the big productions.

Riding with Charlotte is another YouTuber I’m not so keen on. She doesn’t do so much freebies, I think she is pretty wealthy but instead has her bf film her. I’m not sure if he has a job or just lives off her and acts as her groom.

Tina and Banksy are bloody brilliant on the cross country course! I wish I had the balls and the seat she has. I am not confident jumping and I used to have a really nappy pony who I was scared to hack out so I can completely empathise with her anxieties.

Couldn’t agree more. Her position is horrific and she yanks her horses faces off. She needs a better instructor as anyone who is encouraging that sort of riding needs a reality check

I can barely tolerate Megan Elphick, she is so in love with herself and getting all the freebies that it’s hard to watch. Also when things don’t go her way eventing, on comes the water works. I really don’t like the way she flirts with the vet on camera for her audience when she knows he is engaged to someone else.

Tina Wallace is a mouth breathing troglodyte. Don’t know how people can like her, she is a moron and plays the dumb blonde card which I hate. Her own husband doesn’t seem to like her much.

I do like Riding with Rhi and a few others with low numbers. Stuart Eventing are really down to earth sisters. Holly Lenahan, Lilpetchannel and Equine Mollie.

And dont tell me you have never cried when something you really wanted didnt work out because you ducked up? Doesnt make her "in love with herself" or a bad person. That makes her passionate about what she does. I cried the day I ducked up my showjumping at a championship, because I was so close to winning, but I messed up and it resulted in me loosing the championship. Its okay to be disappointed in yourself. And she doesn't flirt with the vet? What the hell? Just because she is friendly and jokes around with him, doesn't mean she is flirting with him? They have literally known each other for years and have a good relationship.

And what's wrong with her getting freebies? That's literally how her job works. That's how Youtuber earns money and cool stuff. Why does it hurt you to see her get free stuff? Like are you jealous that she gets to have the cool poly jumps gifted? I know I am jealous she gets poly jumps gifted to her, but its not like i'm nasty about it. I'm just sad that I cant get them for free, because I have nothing to offer Poly Jumps in return. Its kinda like how the biggest riders in the world gets free stuff all the time. Like does that hurt you as well? That some riders are sponsored by someone cool and gets free stuff?

Second off: This Esme is literally a channel for younger teens who wants their first horse or just got one. She makes videos for that and then she of course has merch, like so many other Youtubers, because she can and her fans wants to buy it. She also does meets and greets and so many come to them because they love her. Nothing wrong with her channel being aimed at kids. Who do have parents I might add. Just because her fans wants her merch doesn't make them dumb... That is kids you are talking about.
Also her dads filmmaking is remarkable and if he wants to do it, which he wants, then what its the problem. Like her dad is amazing at filming and then Esme edits like a pro. Also what is wrong with needing you dad for stuff? and she has her dad filming her hacking because people like seeing it. And pretty sure its not every hack she has him along for and even if it is, what is wrong with that?

Not sure if she counts as an equestrian influencer, but does anyone follow Country Grandeur? I really like lots of her content but her flakey / flitting from one thing to another attitude is so irritating.

Either she is seriously unlucky or she can’t look after horses. They all seem to end up dying or almost dead.

And even if he was living off of her, then whats it to you? Like if they are happy with the arrangement they made, then its not really our business. Its so clear to me when I hear people talk or see their writing on stuff with a spooky horse, that they have never ever sat on an actual spooky horse. Most people will say "You just have to desensitize them to the environment" but thats clearly because they have a horse with no fire underneath them... If these people actually had a spooky horse, they would understand how hard it is to sit those random spooks here and there. or the 180s they do.

If you are looking for people to post gushing comments about influencers and the stuff they push on vulnerable youngsters then you are in the wrong place. That isn’t the purpose of this forum.
You may be naive enough or just plain stupid enough to buy the lies they throw at you but they do it because they make money off of it.

Occasionally you will get a half decent vlog but most of it is churned out for content, regardless of how boring or unnecessary it may be. Take ThisEmes recent string of videos where she paints her stables. Everyone knows how to paint yet that’s what she did in each video when she could have made two videos maximum of what things looked like after they had been painted. She is a grown woman why is she locking herself in a tack room for 24 hours? What adult would like to watch that content.

Oh and the vet felt so uncomfortable he posted on her video telling everyone he was practically married to someone else yet Meg keeps changing her outfit and putting make up on right before he turns up. It’s embarrassing. Think she’s desperate after her bf dumped her.

Esmes followers will blindly defend her no matter what. The reason influencers exist is because there is a generation brought up on social media. They trust it and they will believe everything these people say because they want to be them.

I love Tina. I think she’s great. I followed her earlier in the year then unfollowed in March when I lost my horse as seeing horses pop up on my stories was triggering for me. Anyway I followed her again recently. I was a little shocked at firstwhen she showed her husband. But she does seem to really love hi. Is he always so grumpy though? She always seems so upbeat but he always seems grumpy
