I also don’t support buying things you can’t pay for, and do question the Klarnas and other buy now, pay later schemes, BUT and I think it’s a big but, it makes some purchases accessible for more people. I’m thinking in the sense of sustainable fashion brands being financially inaccessible to many, but that doesn’t mean that if someone needs a new pair of trousers and wants a pair from a small, locally producing company, they shouldn’t be able to.
