( oh she did but the feckers got in anyway) seriously, say Herbie hates them! anybody else pick up on the three older girls always making little digs at Elle? just little comments throughout the vlogs over the years, made me feel a bit sad for Elle.

I HATE how Lucy and the other bimbos act with Katie, Elle is very natural with her, like if she says going to frozen is one of the best days of her life, Elle laughs along but says “bit extreme isn’t it”
Lucy talks to her like she’s a toddler and talks down to her, even pointing out the donuts yesterday, she acted like Katie was a 12 year old taking them,
I missed the conversation when Elle was coming into the house but was Lucy saying one of the boys was “scared” of the dog?

Id have ducked them all out with their chocolate and fizzy drinks and cleaned the house straight away

Think some have taken an idea and ran with it. Whilst perhaps the launch was probably a good reason for them to stay in the UK, Connor probably also wouldn’t want to bring up the fact they aren’t going because of Elle’s mums health on Elle’s birthday and in front of so many people people (as well as Lucy’s audience). Elle has been fairly reserved with the details so far, I assume at the request of her mum/family, so it makes sense for Connor to be mindful of that. Seems unfair to be so harsh given that none of us know the details. We are not owed an explanation for every aspect of her private life but given Elle’s reaction to her mums presence it’s clear that it meant a lot to her and perhaps there is more going on behind the scenes. To me, Connor saying what he said wasn’t really that shocking once common sense was applied. Also, given how private Elle has been I really doubt she’d use her mums health as an excuse if it wasn’t genuine

A fire place, island, sofa, painting done in the week of New York, and launched a new collection I’m leaning more towards it being that that kept them home.

her mum was at her party, bought her an advent calendar, doesn’t seem to be in hospital.

I’m glad it was just busy house and work issues that kept them home and that’s how it looks. If Elle addresses it now it’s clear she reads here.

She defo implied it was more serious though and said if some of you have been following me for a while you will know what I’m on about and it is not my story to tell....I really hope she hasn’t put that out there to cover the fact she didn’t want to go, or the house came first, if it did just say It was too much, we didn’t expect to move now and we will go away in the new year! Surely it has to be the house, because things like a sofas and expensive made to order beds etc have scheduled deliveries so this would have been planned, she wouldn’t have been home for all these deliveries and new items and paid sponsorships with deadlines, and it isn’t coincidence that those things happen to fall on the week she will now be home. She made out it was her mum and things have gotten bad, which I hope it isn’t, but if it is then those deliveries and sponsorships would have been booked in for this date prior to her knowing she wouldn’t be around and that makes zero sense.

add in the trades men she had coming in to fit the island and fireplace and the stuff she was trying to sell online, and that’s not even taking into account the lounge wear business. Considering they had been wawy for a month and home two weeks there is no way they could head off again, they would come back from New York to an empty house with no sofa, tv (sky that was scheduled to be connected) no fireplace, no island and a new clothing range launch

But to say that and cancel the trip for that reason, it would look bad

Yeah he’s taking her, her mom and Katie for afternoon tea and then the 2 of them are staying at the hotel. Thought it was a bit awkward when Elle asked if her mom and Katie we’re staying for the night too and he said no!

But you have no idea when they decided to cancel the NY trip. It could’ve been a few months ago after they received some bad news about Elle’s mum and because they were now free they decided to move ahead with decorating the house and booked stuff in.

what I really don't like about influencers is the fact they think for example they are the only ones to have a long term relationship, get engaged, buy a house etc. It's like they hint and 'hype' it up to everyone when in reality these things are happening everyday as part of a human life! It's as if no one has ever done it before.

i absolutely think that connor is going to propose soon... dragging out the birthday celebrations and the afternoon tea thing makes me think its coming! i actually enjoy watching elle's vlogs, i prefer gemma, i think the whole 'boo' thing is a bit false but i do like them! it's really hard not to speculate over why they aren't in new York... if it is to do with their mum then i'm heartbroken for the girls, and i do feel sorry for katie because I've only just recently watched her birthday vlog and she was SO excited bless her about the holiday. she's such a lovely girl. i'm hoping it wasn't purely because of the angelle launch and the new house.

I really wouldn't be surprised if they rebooked New York for New Years and did the proposal then. They are really selfish if so and I certainly wouldn't propose on my sibling's birthday trip but this is Elle and Connor we are talking about. I know Katie is close to them but still just no. Elle's pouty face tells you all you need to know about how spoilt she is (or is it just the botox?)

My guess for the proposal: they go for the afternoon tea. Connor proposes then so Elle's mum gets to see. I think he'll throw them an engagement party at the hotel and they'll then stay there.
