Yes this absolutely. I have big boobs. Not obscene but pretty big. I started with 34C but then went to 32D (Sister size) and had a vast improvement. But still, I never loved my bras and theyā€™d hurt in diff ways or my boobs would always look more jiggly than others and I didnā€™t know why.

Finally I looked into it and did a proper measurement. Checkout ā€œa bra that fitsā€ on reddit.

Turns out I am 30F or 30G depending on UK or US sizing. Itā€™s a misconception that D sized cups are super huge and anything bigger is pornographic. You would never guess I had that bra size. So many people go from thinking theyā€™re 34A to actually being 30D and having a much better bra after discovering ā€œabrathatfitsā€ and the proper sizing and boob shape.

Iā€™d encourage everybody with boobs to look into this. Positives to a bra that fits: more support, better posture, not having excess jiggling, etc
I'd also like to add my thanks! While looking up the subreddit I stumbled across another one related to some health issues I'm facing. The ladies in there sound just like me, but they're diagnosed! So THANK YOU for suggesting the Reddit...this will be a huge help in talking to my doctor!

you can kinda see the outline of her thong?? Thatā€™s how tight those pants are. I would love to see her sit down and rip those pants down her butt and have her ass exposed!!
Maybe that's why she keeps buying the same stuff every year. :m

Anyone here follow ā€œmademoiselleā€? Her name is Jamie-Lee, I believe. Sheā€™s an Australian YouTuber that has great style (though I must say she tends to buy multiple items that look exactly the same, but I digress). She did a Nordstrom sale video and it is such a breath of fresh air after watching Elleā€™s. Her carefully selected items are actually things Iā€™d buy and she is also quite honest in her reviews.
I watch her and I like her a lot. Sheā€™s actually one of the first youtubers I watched when I was trying to get into minimalism (didnā€™t work, lol) and ethical clothing. Iā€™ve actually bought a couple things thanks to her reviews.

And unlike Eleanor, sheā€™s a true size 2. šŸ˜‚

I sorta get why Eleanor Florence calls herself a size 2 now: she literally buys brands with very generous vanity sizing or clothes in a stretchy fabric, then squeezes herself into it. As long as she can button or zip it up, Eleanor seems to consider that ā€œher sizeā€ even if sheā€™s literally bursting out and her underwear is showing. She doesnā€™t give a f how the piece should actually fit (as evidenced by how the Halogen pants and Sweaty Betty pieces fit on the model vs Elle) and considers that a triumph for herself size wise, and then reminds her viewers constantly that she fits into a small size. Itā€™s just another facet of her constant lying and misrepresentation of the truth. Nothing new and just what weā€™ve come to expect from #girlboss.

I havenā€™t watched the Nordstrom video as the streaming site Invidious is going to get shut down (her latest videos arenā€™t posted on there), but from the screenshots here her clothes donā€™t look that great on her, as usual. Iā€™m not sure how she inspires anyone to buy the clothes she shows off. šŸ˜‚

It reminds me of another youtuber I watch named Carrie Dayton...same age as Eleanor but MUCH more followers, despite not being on YouTube for as long as Elle...although equally annoying and just as bitchy, lmao. For a long time she was in denial about her size because she didnā€™t want to admit she no longer was straight sized but plus sized. As a result all the clothes sheā€™d try on were just too tight and looked awful.

If Elle wants to hype up her ā€œEuropeanessā€ she should size up in her clothing and wear what fits comfortably. And if some parts end up being too long or too big (which is bound to happen), go to a tailor and get your clothes taken in. Seems like common sense to me. šŸ™„šŸ˜‚

This is insightful, I think youā€™re right. When my husband asks me what size to buy something for me, I always have to ask him WHY, BECAUSE IT DEPENDS (surprises almost always fail because of this). If itā€™s for a tshirt, I can fit into a size S, but I prefer the look of an M or L. If itā€™s for Lululemon leggings, I can fit into 4s for Aligns, but I lounge in them, so I always pick 6. For sweatpant joggers, I can fit fine into an S, but I prefer M or L for comfort and for the look. For slacks, 2s for when Iā€˜m standing, but I am sitting at a laptop most days, so I actually opt for a 6 with the waist slightly taken in (I squat). Most healthy people donā€™t care about size number, they care about how a $100 pair of pants look on them. If Iā€™m going to spend any amount of money on clothing, I had better look good, not try to fit into a small number.
Elle just picks the smallest size she can squeeze into, despite it making her look like a sausage and it busting at the seams. What a sad, pathetic high-school girl mentality.

To give Elle the benefit of the doubt (not much, tho, Iā€™m just being nice), itā€™s very possible sheā€™s in between sizes so she opts for the smaller size. That said Iā€™d rather pick a different brand that fits or if itā€™s well made I SIZE UP and have it taken in at the tailors.

That's got to be it. I was thinking she may be buying women's sizes. She's shorter than me and I tend to buy things from the teen or petite section because they fit me. "Women's" as a classification tends to look like dress up on me, and it may on Elle also. So I could easily see her fitting into a women's 2 (although clearly she needs to size up on that!). But maybe she needs a petite 6 or 8.

I am 5ā€™4 and purchase petite I have very short arms and legs.
I am surprised she doesnā€™t purchase petite sizing as well. Think of how braggable it would be to be so small and danity that your clothes are so small.

Me too! Iā€™ve bought several things because of her, including the skirt I am wearing today šŸ˜‰

This! If one size is a bit too snug but the next size up is huge or makes me look weird I just don't buy those pants/shirt whatever it is instead of trying ti make it work. And generally i just skip that brand in the future if it happens a few times. And it could be a petite thing too. I'm 5'4" but a lot of petite stuff is too short in the arms or too small in the shoulders or just too short in the legs since I'm right on the edge. But some misses/womens items just look like I stole my mom"s clothes. So I mostly shop juniors since that tends to look better on me. Elle just is trying to make clothes that don't work for her, work for her.

I like Jamie too she is sweet and genuine unlike Elle.
But she really seems to have a serious shopping addiction, though it seem to be her money she earned.

She'd have to size up in petites Sometimes bc they are cut smaller than the regular sizes even by the same brand, she would not like being a 6p

šŸ˜„ I can just picture her showing it off to the camera!

On another note, she may be small, but she isn't dainty...more like flabby.

Exactly. Which is why she continues to squeeze into those unflattering items. šŸ¤¢

I hear you. She does (supposedly) have a rule that sheā€™ll sit on an item for 30 days before buying it, but at the same time I get the feeling she is constantly shopping and, because she has a very specific style (which I happen to love), a lot of what sheā€™ll buy is similar to what is already in her wardrobe. At least she does seem to be self-aware and has talked about the dangers of shopping when youā€™re down or to fill a a void/get a high or shopping for your ā€œfantasy selfā€. Imagine Elle ever talking about that! šŸ¤£

Jamie-Lee is amazing! She also recently did a 30x30 wardrobe challenge which was great.

Long time lurker from gg days...got too excited at Jaime's mention so had to join!

yes she is very self aware, and interacts a lot with her subs.
She also has a highly curated instagram, and talk about real issues like her mom's death, her miscarriage etc..she's not trying to prove she is better than everyone like Elle.
