I quickly plugged in those flights into a carbon emissions calculator - the emissions come to about 3.7 tonnes of carbon dioxide just from these journeys (this is probably conservative, assuming she travelled economy for every journey and assuming there weren't additional flights in between). For context, the average carbon emissions from flying in the UK is 400kg per year per person - and we're frequent fliers. And to put it into even more context, the total carbon footprint (not just including flights - everything) of the average person from Kenya is ~350kg per year.
But I'm sure Dinara and other Minerva students will be sure to lecture us all about overconsumption and the climate crisis.
