Can't remember the name, but there was one user who had had a pretty solid posting history. When the story broke about the bloke knocking this girl out outside a nightclub some years back, he posted in the thread how glad he was that she'd been "put in her place" and how she deserved it for "sticking her nose in".
Really angry stuff, and this was at around 10am in the morning in midweek as well so no excuses about being pissed on a weekend or anything like that. The post was deleted soon afterwards and he was banned but I don't know if he ever got back on.

I’ve seen Boo Radley75 belittle and taunt other users so much now that I don’t find any part of them redeeming.
They try and act high and mighty but often stoop to personal jibes and insults which undo any argument of theirs within an instant.
They’re horrid.
As for Tanya1982....a pain in the arse is being extremely kind!
She’s dreadful beyond words (and that’s still being kind I’ll concede!)DS would be improved immeasurably if she got banned. Never going to happen though. She’s got the mods in an iron tight grip by the balls.

Considering she thinks people are sad who invest so much time sticking up for people they don't know, ie. the royal family, she seems to invest a lot of time sticking up for Meghan and Harry and also went to Kensington Palace to lay flowers when Diana died. I'm sure she forgets what she's said half the time as she's constantly contradicting herself (quite similar to Meghan after hearing some of the details of the interview!)
I used to think she was but the more I think about it, she's said her mum was an air hostess so would be well travelled - all the information she comes out with could be from her mum. It seems unlikely that she's managed to have been to every area of London and know it intimately, the width and breadth of the UK (she has a story to tell for every place mentioned on the forum) and all over the world (several times) and been married, divorced, had two sons (I do believe one was sadly killed), holds down a high paying job and is a single mum while being in her thirties.

That's why I posts less and less there and more and more here. It's like preparing for war every time I visit.
It's the aggression I can't deal with. It's either anger or constant piss taking. I do both but not all day every day!! It's one thing even in politics as that is a very emotive subject but when you get it in every section of the forum it's not fun anymore. I purposely stayed away from the politics forum for that reason but it's infected the whole site.
I do think lockdown has changed things. More people stuck at home with nothing to do apart from be angry at the world and post on forums. Arguing and baiting is how they entertain themselves.
I liked that thread (apart from SM) it was informative and useful unlike most other things on that site.
James is a sad deluded furry nobsh*te who only liked the EU because he got unregulated travel to the annual European Furry Convention.

Here brings out the best in a poster. DS brings out the worse. Over the years I have taken breaks and come back with a new name. Always post the same so not trying to fool anyone. but this time I doubt I will be going back. I did ask for my account to be deleted but posted something that triggered many and they banned me instead.

Most DS posters wouldn't last 5 mins over here they would be told to f off if they start that nonsense here most likely grabbing their pearls and sniffing the smelling salts with some of the threads here.What are all the prolific posters going to do when Digital Spy closes its forum? The thing with that thread is you used to be able to read it and enjoy it whether you had listened to a show or not that day. Now, if you are listening 24/7 and contributing in real time you get a 'did you listen to the show?' or 'I thought you didn't listen to (name presenter)'.

What I don't understand about social media is why people make it personal, if you don't agree with a posters viewpoint thats fine, debate is healthy but some can't stick with that, they make attacks on the individual and not their view.

i agree, there are some people i would like to meet in real life, just to see if they can still be the same utter **** to my face, some people really do take liberties behind a keyboard.
Because ive got quite a few friends on DS i always pictured DS being a room in a pub or something and you were chatting to them minding your own business, now i would never walk past someone and butt in to make a snarky comment in that situation, as one its rude and two if you pick the wrong person you have trouble, the fact people like him has the utter ignorance of his own personality makes me wonder how many people have punched him irl, my guess is he isnt like it in real life, otherwise he would have learned by now, so i think he uses the hiding behind the keyboard as a way to make himself feel superior, which just means in real life he is an utter **** and coward.
You arent allowed to put people in their place on DS though, yet they are allowed to be utter ****s to people with no real consequence, which really annoys me, another reason i had to come away and leave DS
