Me, as a 25 year old wearing my Cartier and Van cleef bracelets, reading this chat 👀🤣

Just to offer a different perspective, honestly though, it might be where I’ve grown up or the people I’m surrounded by, but it’s quite normal to have Cartier/Van cleef bracelets and designer bags when you’re young, bought by your parents. I spent a lot of time in the UAE as well, and its not uncommon to see Chanel bags on young women or stacks of diamond jewellery or a Rolex on a 20 something year old. It is definitely very different in England!

Of course, if you’re working a part time, low wage job with a mortgage and kids and you have 3 VCA bracelets on, you’re not fooling anyone haha, I agree with you guys. But I’m sure people look at me (a student, who dresses casually, often no makeup, usually in scrubs 😂), and think my stuff is fake. But that’s fine, I probably don’t fit their usual image of someone who wears expensive designer jewellery 😂 but it won’t stop me wearing any of it 💓

this is my stack today 👀 sorry if it’s basic as fuck 😂😂
I love the honesty there - and to be honest I don't really think of people like that !!

I'm trying to get myself out there with my own graphics business as well as working full time as an engineer and I still can't afford VC&A or Chanel lol, but one can dream !!

I cant lie I do love your stack 💓

Wow, those are stunning. Another rec for Jimmy Choo - by far the most comfortable of heels for me.

Sorry - I bought the Celine gladiators- not these YSL🙈 didn’t want to mislead. I love these but since the lockdowns I struggle with wearing heels too😭 someone I know got some of these and can’t wear them. Even if I could wear them, you just know the first time I did that heel is going straight down into a pavement crack😂

I have these! With the gold heel. Absolutely beautiful but definitely sitting down shoes 😂 I cannot walk in them lol
Defo limo shoes 🥹

THIS !! So many people have the bracelets and watches as fakes and when they wear them just look ridiculous due to the actual worth of them !! Could you imagine a normal 20 something year old being able to afford £50k worth of Van cleef 🤣 🤣 🤣
I know 🤣🤣 I couldn’t afford my first piece of designer jewellery until I was in my late twenties yet looking at the generation below they’ve got it all by 22 apparently 🤣

Hi all! I have a Mulberry Bayswater that hasn’t been used in years and most likely will never be used again! Best place to sell? Any advice and info would be much appreciated. I’ve sold dresses on eBay and Vinted but never a designer handbag x
I have sold on both eBay and Luxe Collective before, I think from experience Luxe Collective was better as you just send them your item if they agree to buy it off you but it does have to be nearly new condition. If it's more used, I'd say eBay.

Not a fan of the loop bag, personally I think the Alma is classic and won't go out of fashion any time soon
I have the Alma and it's the perfect bag for day or night! It can look casual but also be dressed up and there's some that have a really fancy cross body strap now that says Louis Vuitton on. I went for a classic navy one and I love it so much

Hi Enablers 😀 Just wanted to ask your views on the Hermes “H” belt? Is it tacky? Also not sure which buckle I like the most (the Mini H, Gamma or Mini Constance)? Any advice would be much appreciated :)
I actually love logo belts, I’m probably a bit tacky though 🤣 the only ones of those I like is the Gamma though, the others remind me of 21 year old finance intern boys in Canary Wharf x

Morning enablers 👋

I ordered the YSL Uptown clutch last week but now it’s arrived it’s not for me. It’s too formal and big, I want something slightly smaller and less blingy, for evening wanders when I’m on holiday. The colours are perfect though - I’m looking for something in raffia or canvas with some kind of brown element. Celine did a cute little pouch with a wrist strap but seem to have stopped doing it now. Anyone have any other suggestions please?

Here’s the Uptown

Cheeky cow! I sold my Triple S about a fortnight before it came out, - thank god as I’d never flog them for a decent price now.
I never thought about how much I could sell them for now, good job we sold them when we did!

On another note, idk why but I’m really drawn to this bag. It’s not my style at all but I kinda like it. What does everyone think?

I feel like the key pouch would be so good for the gym, when you have a huge bag full of stuff and you want to be able to quickly find keys, airpods etc...maybe I need one 👀

Omggggg. I had to share this with you guys. Went to selfridges and Harvey Nichols today with my Mr as we are doing some holiday shopping and in Dior department, we had a guy helping us who happened to be a member of management. He was complaining about personal shoppers hiding items as he was looking for a pair of trainers for Mr… he eventually came back with them and as we finished up shopping he gave us his personal number and said anything we need, give him a text. Basically doing up personal shopper himself…

Mr sent him a message this evening, asking if he had certain items to which he’s only gone and sent us pictures of a bunch of FAKE items!!! And they’re so obviously fake as well. I’ll attach some photos in a bit. I’m actually shocked that a staff member of Harvey Nichols would do such a thing when he could become a personal shopper properly if he wanted?! Appalling!

Had to share with you lot.

Which tote did you get? I have a GP36 but can’t bring myself to use it as a throw around tote like I would the deauville or book tote!

I didn’t know what DH gate was until I created a TikTok account recently 🤣 So much began to make sense to me. I often wondered how there were so many teens wearing VCA and Cartier. Now I get it!
It is the GP 36 😂

I have been incredibly careful with it, but I just love it so much - and I’m a big believer in using bags rather than babying them (I was actually picking up a bag from aftercare when I picked up the GP)

The whole DH Gate universe so horrifying to me. I’m a huge believer in the history and magic of a brand - that you’re buying into generations of skill, craft etc, and now teenagers are running around saying their plastic copies are made in the same factory 😶
