Have any of you sold your designer bags before? What site would you recommend using?
Are you comfortable selling them yourself? If so, there’s various bag Facebook groups. If not, you could always consign (have a seller sell it on your behalf, but you have to wait for the sale to go through and give the seller a cut), otherwise you could always sell it outright to a company. And what sort of designers are you selling?

I'm thinking of selling some older LV bags that have aged but are in great condition. I have no receipts/proof of purchase. I feel like it's a bit of a hassle to sell it myself. I've tried things like local selling apps before and people wanted to come over and look at it etc and I don't fancy doing that.

Have you considered selling with Sellier?

(Not sure if I’m allowed to post links? Sorry mods if not!)

If you don’t fancy selling it yourself, try: designer exchange, sellier, bagista, luxury promise, addicted to handbags, love luxe.

Cara Kilby sells designer items via her lovemeagainldn page I haven’t sold anything but I did enquire & this is the info she sent me. I thought the 20% was good, I know sellier take minimum 50% depending on what your item sells for.

Hi ❤
I work like a service instead of an app.
Post the item(s)to me, once they arrive I then photograph and upload them to our page. Once they are listed I will communicate with the interest, when sold I would pack and post to the buyer.
Payment will be transferred to you via Bank Transfer once sold.
My commission is 20%.
You literally don’t have to do anything I will do it all for you.
If you are interested, then please send me over some photos of your item.

Thanks all. Will have a research. Can't believe places take more than 50%?? That's mad!

I bought a bag from Vestiaire but it was the wrong size but they allowed me to relist and sale was quick and faultless. Reviews aren’t good though 😳
(then bought one in right size from luxury promise)

I can’t say I would buy from her as I’m not sure about her authentication process if she does it all herself she’s not an expert but for selling you’ve nothing to loose I suppose.

I was there too yesterday - it was mental. I went to the German markets though, I was banned from the shops😂 Did you check out Harvey Nic’s 20% off promo?
Hey no I very rarely go in Harvey nicks tbh I don’t know why just don’t like the vibe 🤣 probs just me but yeah much prefer Selfridges. I went with my eldest daughter we went round the Christmas markets. We’ll be back in a few weeks Manchester is now her favourite shopping place 😩🤣.

Didn’t we have this conversation before and everyone said the same about HN for both Manchester and London? I hate it 😂 I do order stuff online though, I just hate the store itself.

The one in Manchester always feels empty and awkward. I’ve never seen anything nice in there!

We have definitely had this convo😂
I prefer Selfridges all day long, it’s warmer, busier and has a better vibe. Harvey Nic’s MCR is good when it has a promotion on, it’s a bit stuffy and clinical and I do prefer it online. I have found sometimes that the SAs in store are prepared to offer the promotions on items that aren’t supposed to be included in the sale, which you don’t get online.
I don’t mind the actual Flannels shop in Manc but I just hate the way they operate (I know I’ve said this before too🙊) but their company policy stinks. The staff have always been ok in there though.

So hate the one in London I went in there once and I’ve never been back. The one in Manchester I didn’t mind, the lady was very helpful. Everything was a bit crammed in though.

My local flannels (not Manc) is honestly not the one. They cater to chavs they have the most commonly bought high end pieces. The beauty bit is ok but the rest 👎.

Flannels is very random, there is one in Southport! I suppose they get footballers and that from Formby but they do put them in the most random towns.

I’ve sold a few items on Facebook marketplace but not bags etc. Most of the time you can tell who is genuinely interested. I took lots of photographs from different angles of the items. Anyone in the know will realise they are genuine items

This is going to sound judgemental but how on earth do chavs afford it? I was in my local one a few weeks ago and there were a number of travellers in.

I’m having a bit of a dilemma… I’m extremely tempted by the Louboutin cabata N/S mini and the cabata. Do I go down that road and if so, which one?
