So far I’ve just been taking pics of her in the box for some reason I’m terrified of the lambskin! I hate being that person, but with my caviar classic flap, I’m pretty carefree with it.

I got rid of my acrylic nails in case I scratch it. Does anyone have any tips for lambskin? I was hoping to wear it for the first time to dinner tonight though (Well I wore it to the kitchen to make a sandwich the other day and model it to my mum, if that counts )

I stayed away from these threads a) because I felt I was being enabled and b) I was getting paranoid about sharing stuff I had and if people might know me and connect the dots.

Anyway. How are you getting on with your Chanel now? Some of you may remember I got the Chanel trendy and I massively regret it now the bar on the top is so scratched as is the inside of the bag from my keys and loose make up. The lambskin is just so delicate. I just want a mini flap in caviar now (no enabling please )

Oh no! I fear I may have played a part in that enabling, I’m a saddo and only use mine for ‘best’ I use my Soho for the daily battering! I also left my sticker on the metal for ages then took it off.
I was enabled into buying a WOC and wish I’d got a mini flap too - for the extra it would’ve been worth it. Now I think I’m priced out so no enabling from me (unless I’m in an airport somewhere )

I’m definitely not wearing it daily, I’ve probably used it max twice a month since I’ve had it.

I also recently sold my wedding shoes that I didn’t wear and got some black leather Manolos haven’t worn them yet though….

Black, bright pink or a an unusual colour.
Not red, blue or brown, orange or any embellishments.
It has to be caviar leather and rectangular in shape. Not square. The chain im not fussed as I want to use it as an everyday run around bag.
I always seem to get offered a lovely colour in a square shape or a rectangular mini with embellishment.
I never have no luck in Harrods so will try Bond Street.
Or one day I need to travel to France.
The mini has not gone up in price so thé sonner I get it the better as they will definitely go up in price.

If you’re wanting to buy new, you won’t get caviar. They stopped selling caviar minis a few years ago.

I absolutely love the mini top handle. Not as much as my classic flap but it comes very very close. It’s so cute, looks so dressy and i get a lot of compliments on it. Also the top handle is really nice and I prefer it to the regular mini rectangular (the bag I initially wanted). But I haven’t taken the hardware stickers off yet, and the lambskin looks great so far. Also I can’t enable you to get a mini in caviar because they stopped producing them you’d only be able to get them preloved now.

im sorry to hear about your trendy the hardware does eventually get scratched but I’m surprised it’s like that since you didn’t get it too long ago.

Haha this thread DEFINITELY had a huge influence on my cartier ring purchase but I love it still (and wear it everyday so probably buggering it up) but I'd had some inheritance and wanted to get something super special. Plus the shop experience was incredible

I’ve just purchased my AW wardrobe but, couldn’t see any bags that are great for everyday wear. Does anyone have any recommendations, I would like one for everyday and then a nice Christmassy one!

I went to Manchester yesterday and it was a very disappointing trip. Prada in Selfridges just isn’t what it once was imo. Nothing to do with the staff more to do with the lack of products . Manchester was absolutely insanely busy .
