Are you comfortable selling them yourself? If so, there’s various bag Facebook groups. If not, you could always consign (have a seller sell it on your behalf, but you have to wait for the sale to go through and give the seller a cut), otherwise you could always sell it outright to a company. And what sort of designers are you selling?Have any of you sold your designer bags before? What site would you recommend using?
I'm thinking of selling some older LV bags that have aged but are in great condition. I have no receipts/proof of purchase. I feel like it's a bit of a hassle to sell it myself. I've tried things like local selling apps before and people wanted to come over and look at it etc and I don't fancy doing that. Are you comfortable selling them yourself? Thanks all. Will have a research. Can't believe places take more than 50%?? That's mad!Cara Kilby sells designer items via her lovemeagainldn page I haven’t sold anything but I did enquire & this is the info she sent me. I thought the 20% was good, I know sellier take minimum 50% depending on what your item sells for.
Hi
I work like a service instead of an app.
Post the item(s)to me, once they arrive I then photograph and upload them to our page. Once they are listed I will communicate with the interest, when sold I would pack and post to the buyer.
Payment will be transferred to you via Bank Transfer once sold.
My commission is 20%.
You literally don’t have to do anything I will do it all for you.
If you are interested, then please send me over some photos of your item.

I can’t say I would buy from her as I’m not sure about her authentication process if she does it all herself she’s not an expert but for selling you’ve nothing to loose I suppose.Ooooh I’ve been debating sending something to her but Ive never got round to messaging and I didnt wanna be rude if the commission was ridiculous. Hey no I very rarely go in Harvey nicks tbh I don’t know why just don’t like the vibeI was there too yesterday - it was mental. I went to the German markets though, I was banned from the shopsDid you check out Harvey Nic’s 20% off promo?
Didn’t we have this conversation before and everyone said the same about HN for both Manchester and London? I hate itHey no I very rarely go in Harvey nicks tbh I don’t know why just don’t like the vibeprobs just me but yeah much prefer Selfridges. I went with my eldest daughter we went round the Christmas markets. We’ll be back in a few weeks Manchester is now her favourite shopping place
.
The one in Manchester always feels empty and awkward. I’ve never seen anything nice in there!Didn’t we have this conversation before and everyone said the same about HN for both Manchester and London? I hate it![]()
i get the same vibe in flannels too anyone else or is it just the one that’s closest to me?Didn’t we have this conversation before and everyone said the same about HN for both Manchester and London? I hate itI do order stuff online though, I just hate the store itself.
So hate the one in London I went in there once and I’ve never been back. The one in Manchester I didn’t mind, the lady was very helpful. Everything was a bit crammed in though.i get the same vibe in flannels too anyone else or is it just the one that’s closest to me?![]()
I’ve sold a few items on Facebook marketplace but not bags etc. Most of the time you can tell who is genuinely interested. I took lots of photographs from different angles of the items. Anyone in the know will realise they are genuine itemsI'm thinking of selling some older LV bags that have aged but are in great condition. I have no receipts/proof of purchase. This is going to sound judgemental but how on earth do chavs afford it? I was in my local one a few weeks ago and there were a number of travellers in.My local flannels (not Manc) is honestly not the one. They cater to chavs they have the most commonly bought high end pieces. The beauty bit is ok but the rest.
