I do get her drinking to a point. I suffered massively with anxiety and over the years it’s the only thing that seemed to make my brain shut off. However I realised a few years ago that all it was doing was making it so much worse and so now I don’t drink. The difference is insane and my anxiety is no where near as bad as it was. I really think her drinking is so much worse than what she portrays on social media as well. It’s not normal to be drinking in the bath at 12 noon however much you want to dress It up as “self care”
I agree but her behaviours don’t marry up. I’ve never known someone with anxiety to be so arrogant and abrupt.

Let’s be honest if most of us are cooking at home we don’t maintain restaurant quality standards at all times I bet 😂 but then again we don’t post it on insta
No we don’t - but I definitely wash my hands straight after touching raw chicken 🤢

Anxiety shows in different ways, when my anxiety flares up, I can be confrontational and abrupt cos its like im bubbling over with nerves
I am proper moody and emotional when anxious but I come off all social media for the day until I’ve calmed down, I don’t sit in my Harry Potter knickers necking a bottle of wine for my followers to see

Exactly! I’m a mental health professional and her behaviour doesn’t reflect anxiety or OCD at all. Yes being abrupt can be a manifestation of anxiety but she is just plain rude and arrogant a lot of the time. She drinks far too much to preach about managing MH concerns.

I’d love to know why she thinks she has OCD. As someone else said a lot of the time people with OCD are crippled by it. She posts large chunks of her day on Instagram and in no way portrays that.

I think she is arrogant and rude, but dismissing potential MH issues and using your profession as though that opinion is a diagnosis is abit uncomfortable.

The attention seeking ties in with the arrogance.

At no point did I use my opinion and profession as a diagnosis. Or dismiss her, I said that the way she portrays herself isn’t a reflection of someone that has anxiety or OCD. This is a girl that repeatedly called women bleeps on an “ask me anything” story because they asked what her size was or said that their own experience of anxiety improved when they reduced their alcohol intake.
She puts a large amount of her life online and for others that experience MH issues it would probably appear that she copes quite well and can be incredibly demotivating. The only times she brings it up is if she’s had negative comments or messages and takes a few days away from social media.

If she has OCD then I’m interested to know how it impacts her, it isn’t a diagnosis you just pick up at a 10 minute GP appointment.

A lot behaviours can go unnoticed as part of a bigger issue. Who knows, if she was actually assessed, she could have any number of issues. Sometimes, people are just dickheads and there isnt an illness there. Sometimes, its hidden beneath a bolshy show of attitude. Im just thinking of the experiences Ive gone through and witnessed of others. You need the whole picture, and we dont have that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

.. i just think she comes across really quite unhappy, and she puts on a front. So id believe there would be a degree of anxiety there.

I know there are loads of different types of OCD and it affects people In different ways so I’m interested to see how it affects her. I’m not dismissing her but I suspect she’s one of those that thinks it just stands for obsessive cleaning disorder and thinks she has “it” cause she likes hoover lines.

It is banded about a lot when people dont actually realise how intrusive it is.

I completely agree, I think there’s a huge front which is probably why she is so passive aggressive and rude to people, maybe that’s just her way of dealing with her own inner turmoil and anxieties. It just baffles me that someone could be so awful to another person that opened up to her about their own experiences with MH.

I feel like a lot of instagramers throw the mental health term about to seem relevant or get likes. Not saying she doesn't have any issues or anything.

Mental health itself can be selfish, innit. I can be a total soft rit with people discussing mental health, but when im starting to shut down, i just dont have the capacity to deal with others problems. (So much guilt around this when its my unstable mum 😣🙃). I do think shes rude anyway, with or without a MH issue.

I blame buzzfeed and all their funny quizzes 🙄
