COVID-19 vaccine #16 & general vaccine conversation

I've been very interested to find out in the aftermath as the jab has come up in conversation, just how many people we know who didn't have it. We own a gym and it turns out a lot of our members didn't have it. These are fit, strong, healthy people. I might also suggest given the sport we specialise in, they are determined and mentally strong too.

I would make the same decision again in a heartbeat. I remember at the time being astounded how many people were queueing up for it, sharing their vax cards like a badge of honour, changing their profile pics to I've Been Vaxxed! I thought I was in an episode of The Truman Show.

It honestly is insanity the things that occured. "HANDS - FACE - SPACE" / Oh but actually "Eat Out to Help Out" / Lockdown Tiers; which meant you could drive into the next county in order to sit down with a drink, but only if you ordered a scotch egg ..... and on and on.

Honestly! My husband and I said in years to come school children will be taught about the pandemic, and learn in hindsight all the errors that millions and millions went along with, without asking questions.

And I'm not here gloating. All of my family have had their jabs. I'm more frustrated that it's now all being brushed under the carpet, so most will never know, and will continue on with their stance on us selfish "anti-vaxxers" (who are actually probably mostly anti-covid jab / anti-mandatory jabs).

I am an anti vaxxer I’ve denied all vaccines offered to me and I have never ever been questioned about vaccine status by anyone except by employer and even they didn’t push me to get it they offered them if I wanted them! I was offered some in pregnancy too. Again never pushed into getting them. Since covid it’s almost acceptable to coerce people into taking medical interventions against their will and restrict their life on that basis. Remember the domestic vaccine passports- we couldn’t go into a restaurant if we didn’t have a vaccine then that changed to if we had a negative lft that we self certified we could get in. A very traumatising 2 years! But we did it! We are a force to be reckoned with.

I remember someone coming on here or the CT thread genuinely petrified that they were going to be physically removed from their homes and family if they didn't comply and get it. The people responsible for putting others in that terrifying frame of mind should hang their heads in shame. I never in my lifetime thought that I would see the day where people behaved like that. With the fast moving variants who knows? Everyone has different memory cells ,it’s the luck of the draw, BA 1 has nearly fizzled out so the vaccine is out dated before it’s even been produced lol.

It’s still promising that vaccines can be updated to provide protection against more than one variant. BA.1 is no longer the dominant variant, however the variants which are dominant still come under Omicron leniage so I don’t think the vaccine would be completely wasted.

He's only hopeful that will be the case ,he says to get ahead they need to get a world where it becomes more like flu (a set strain )who knows when that will be .Plus they're giving people 50mcg shots god knows what side effects will come from that .

I and most others on here have never stated any high profile sudden death was the vaccine, and those that have, have every right to speculate considering what is coming out about heartrelated issues. This was something I saw on the telly recently. An 18 year old who collapsed on a golf course with a cardiac arrest.

Not sure if it was posted here as a “oooh look another young person who had a heart attack, must be the vaccine” story. Yet it turned out to be an inherited heart condition.

I haven’t took offence to any of what you’ve posted, I actually agreed with you that it was tragic so I’m not sure where you get that idea from but we can’t agree on everything where would the fun in that be
