Just the usual yearly hygienist appointment to give them a clean should be enoughAmazing! Thank you for sharing. Do you need to get it polished every so often?

Botox paralysis the muscle where with filler it’s injecting into the skin to plump it out if that makes senseWhat exactly is the difference between Botox and fillers?
Just take lots of deep breaths and try not to think about the needles, just the end result! It honestly only feels like a scratch and only lasts seconds. So I’m booked in for my first ever Botox session tomorrow and filler for my marionette lines and nasolabial folds! Excited but nervous! Had a consultation and she said the marionette and nasolabial filler was the first thing she ever had done and it took years off her! Just cringing at the thought of needles in my face![]()
Yes! You can get both procedures done at once. Just be sure to find a surgeon you can trust since the process will require a bit more finesse.@Iced Coffee I'm pondering a face lift and nose-job - can both procedures happen same-time so as to only go under general anaesthetic once?
LASIK would need to be performed by an eye doctor and not a plastic surgeon, as far as I'm aware. So these two procedures would most likely have to be done separately.I've always wondered this too, would love to be put under and have my nose done plus my eyes lasered at the same time. Feel like waking up with perfect sight might detract a bit from the pain of the nose job![]()
Ohh I see! Yes please do let me know how it goes I'd love to hear all about it as it's something I've thought about for a while too.I haven't had them done yet, im booked in for about three weeks time! I've toyed with the idea for ages too but decided to go for it. Will update here after ive had the appt if you like
Thanks you, I hadn’t heard about the drinking thing so that’s interesting to know.Never had one but not heard great things. Think people find it hard to drink afterwards.
There’s always a surgical lip lift, heightens your top lip.
I hope all goes well for youMy biggest regret is not going to Turkey for mine. I had Turkey booked and then lockdowns happened and afterwards I think people had made me feel so worried about going to Turkey I decided to go with someone in the UK. People were so against it - literally telling me I’d die or I’d get botched by some Turkish surgeon.
I ended up spending £9k in the UK and Turkey was going to be just under £3. I got majorly botched over here and now I’m currently recovering from a revision a year later. Cast off next week… fingers crossed.
Thanks for the reply! Yeah that’s exactly itI did! I had my first ones when I was 19 and then had them done again at 26 a couple of years ago. I think the second time around you’re more aware of what it’s going to be like, so that makes it a bit more nerve wracking - the first time you don’t know so just go with it!
No but I have considered a brow lift, I feel like that can help with sagging eyelids tooHas anyone here ever done anything for hooded/sagging eyelids? That's the one that really tempts me but unlike fillers, botox, breasts or noses - I can't say I've ever spoken to anyone who has had it addressed.
Couldn’t be happier!!! It’s the best thing I’ve ever done and I am in love with my nose!! Good luckOh wow amazing!! Are you happy with the results? A few days I could manage but my husband wouldn’t be able to have much time off work so as long as I can be up and about looking after him then it will be fine!
Ahh I see, it was summer hols when I first had them done, kids were 1,3 and 10 so much easier during the holidays. This time they are 13, 15 and 22. Even though they are older it’s still as hard, ideally I wanted them done start of the Easter Hols but my surgeons earliest date was 17th. I was a lot more nervous this time as I remember how uncomfortable the recovery was last time, mine were under the muscle so very little arm movement. All I have this time is tightness, no pain at all and full arm movement. Feels strange going from DD’s to what looks like a small C cup possibly large B once swelling has gone down. Hope all goes well for you when you eventually get them done.xI found out from Google! My initial surgeon never contacted me about them. I’d have been none the wiser otherwise. Yeah the cost is crazy and around the same as my original surgery (I had implants and an uplift before). I need to bite the bullet and get it booked in but I’m scared of the general anaesthetic this time around cos I’ve got a son now and my risk appetite has gone right down! I’ve saved the money to get it done so will do this year hopefully but I’m waiting for work to calm down a bit first and maybe summer hols so I don’t have to stress about school run etc.
ive got Bupa through my work..the mole kept itching and it was driving me mad. as my GP wasnt doing appts unless for emergencies due to pandemic i went straight throught them. I dont think they classed it as cosmetic as i have a family history of skin cancer but the consultant was keen to reduce scarring as it was facial. He is a Mohs surgery (skin cancer) specialist which is why i chose him (just in case my mole was).Oh that’s interesting! Did you go through your GP for that or through somewhere cosmetic?
