I was thinking about this today. They clearly just didn't want people buying them up so that NHS front line ran out. Which I get but ffs it may have help publicic buy in I'd theyd have told us they are useful from the start.. I wore one regardless.Remember when they also said masks weren’t useful
Nurse, loads of colleagues, ex colleagues have had it, most say sore arm.Got my covid jab booked for next week, anyone whos had it how did you feel after?
I had mine this morning, feeling grand so far! Currently undergoing research into the effects of drinking prosecco after vaccination, also going well so farGot my covid jab booked for next week, anyone whos had it how did you feel after?
Oh wow!I had the Pfizer jab. I felt totally fine in the hours after and ran a 5k. By the time I finished my arm was really throbbing. Overnight it was like a toothache, gnawing pain, and so heavy. Barely slept it was so sore. Kept touching it but no heat or swelling. Next morning had eased, and 24 hrs after jab had died down lots. No other symptoms at all. Will just have paracetamol at the ready next time!!
Oh no, we are having to make appoinments but if they run out they have been cancelling.Nurse, loads of colleagues, ex colleagues have had it, most say sore arm.
I went for mine yesterday and they’d run out didn’t have time to go today
Ahh it may just apply here possibly because our shops are smallerYeah I think here masks in school is only communal areas in secondary and very much doubt there is any distancing in school but haven’t been in one for a decade or so!
And ha I definitely thought it was always 2m, if it’s changed to 1 I have been getting unnecessarily mad at people in Tesco for being too close to me
This sounds like me after my flu jab tbh!I had the Pfizer jab. I felt totally fine in the hours after and ran a 5k. By the time I finished my arm was really throbbing. It goes on signals so it could be a neighbour if your houses are close enough or somebody she has been in the same supermarket as her , it’s not a very accurate way to do thingsHi has anyone had an alert from the app to isolate that absolutely makes no sense my mums old and unhealthy so lives like a proper coronaphobe yet has had an alert last night to isolate for 8 days
she’s baffled I’ve never had an alert but have always presumed when I got one I’d remember what I’d done that day and obvs something of that had caused a problem
she could do with more info the location date and time to have it make sense but I gather that can’t happen
it doesn’t make any difference to her she barely goes out but I feel bad for her that it makes no sense and has stressed her out and now that this has happened she doesn’t want the app anymore really and I can’t think of what to say or do to help
Now I know this is ok, as when I had mine I was advised to ice it if it became swollen/painful, I told him I’d hold my vodka against it later and he said that was perfectly acceptableI had mine this morning, feeling grand so far! A few of my work mates say they have a similar reaction after their flu jab. Ive been fine with flu jabs, and usually just get a sore spot that bruises at the site. I did notice that the nurse who administered it went in higher in my arm muscle. Defo better than covid, and I stupidly had no paracetamol in the first night!! Had ibuprofen but was scared to use it after all the scare mongering at the beginning. This sounds like me after my flu jab tbh!
they had them put aside for those with appointments, but allowing walk ins too.Oh no, we are having to make appoinments but if they run out they have been cancelling.
I don't really understand these people tbh. Believe what you want but realistically what is the point of saying this tit? We've got to follow the rules regardless, The government is hardly going to be like "well Tony on Facebook thinks it's all bollocks so let's just not bother"This is an active ‘covid is a conspiracy theory’ influencer who is absolutely doing my head in. So tempted to message him but feel it’s pretty much pointless - but frightening to think there are so many like him ‘influencing’ others

Canada. Sorry, they name it conjunctivitis.May I ask where you are? I’ve looked for advice online but have not seen pink eye listed as a symptom of Covid? Interesting how different countries determine what symptoms could be indicative of the disease. I do have pink eye and just feel a little run down but no temperature, cough... etc.

Delaying how? The bigger gaps between doses you mean? Why are they delaying the vaccine?
Yes sorry. Not delaying just making the second dose more spread out. Do we know why?Delaying how? The bigger gaps between doses you mean?
also, here’s some more data on vaccinations so far:
