I was thinking about this today. They clearly just didn't want people buying them up so that NHS front line ran out. Which I get but ffs it may have help publicic buy in I'd theyd have told us they are useful from the start.. I wore one regardless.Remember when they also said masks weren’t useful

Ahh it may just apply here possibly because our shops are smallerYeah I think here masks in school is only communal areas in secondary and very much doubt there is any distancing in school but haven’t been in one for a decade or so!
And ha I definitely thought it was always 2m, if it’s changed to 1 I have been getting unnecessarily mad at people in Tesco for being too close to me

It goes on signals so it could be a neighbour if your houses are close enough or somebody she has been in the same supermarket as her , it’s not a very accurate way to do things

A few of my work mates say they have a similar reaction after their flu jab. Ive been fine with flu jabs, and usually just get a sore spot that bruises at the site. I did notice that the nurse who administered it went in higher in my arm muscle. Defo better than covid, and I stupidly had no paracetamol in the first night!! Had ibuprofen but was scared to use it after all the scare mongering at the beginning.
How many vaccinations does Britain need to stop relying on lockdowns?
Deciding when to lift lockdown rules will be a political decision based on how much risk ministers will accept, because the UK's current vaccination programme will not drive Covid out completely.
When restrictions should be stopped is a big question and not a easy one to answer.

Okay cool, all the conspiracy stuff is true. It’s a big control thing, we will never get our freedoms back. If that actually is the case then there’s not a lot we could actually do is there?
Like we should all stop following the restrictions because then the government will just be like oh nvm then we won’t bother to control them, too much hassle 🥱 and covid will disappear?
