We all know it’s the right thing to do but it doesn’t make it any easier. I sympathise, my parents are mid 80’s and vulnerable too. I do worry that they don’t really understand what’s happening and that the loneliness is damaging. Then I think about the families that have relatives in care homes, that must be such a worry too. It is an awful situation all round.Sorry to bring the mood down, but just been told that dialysis patients must now shield until 30th June and letters are on the way.
So that’s another 2 months on top of the almost 2 months he’s already had.
I know it’s to keep him safe, and we will follow the guidelines, but I just want to give my dad a hug and spend some time with him.
