Sorry but dumb question from a dumb person, but I've lost six pounds this week from not eating much due to stress and now my hunger has come back with a vengeance & my heart is calling for me to order chips and cheese? Is it safe the guy will leave it at the door but I'm paranoid about the person that's touched the boxes, cooked my food? I'm gonna waste away without my takeaway are you still getting a lil treat xxx

I have this worry too - been terrified to order a takeaway how do you know the person making it isn’t about to come down with the virus

Why are people surprised Prince Charles got tested quick? hes a future KING with his own doctor of course he will get tested quickly. Not saying its fair but it is what it is!

True! @prinnygrace I might just do that! Half the fun with a takeaway is eating out the box so no washing up but needs must in this difficult time. @clt1992 Oh I've been just as paranoid about that, that's why I've getting my shopping delivered now. I know there is still some risk but I thought one delivery guy (and whoevers touched it) is better than a supermarket with loads of people in it plus that! need to lay off the weed it's making me more paranoid (sorry are we allowed to mention drugs) please don't give me a warning last time I felt like I was being told off and gonna get banned nearly cried I'm away with the fairies xx

Is anyone here working in a supermarket/somewhere similar? My partner is and I'm worried! He doesn't mind as he understands people need food and wouldnt be paid if he didnt go in, and he is sanitising his hands after every customer but the company don't seem to have done anything to minimise risk - if there is anything I don't even know! Interested in other peoples experiences of similar work or some ideas of what he can suggest to management.

It all seems dependent on customers making sure they don't put the workers at risk and from the sounds of it they aren't.

In Germany they put these things up in basically every supermarket. (plexiglass)

How about letting the food go cold and then reheating it in the oven or microwave, the heat should kill any pathogens.

At least I know I'm not the only one now but I do think as long as we get them to leave it outside, open the box with gloves while wearing a mask, wash hands while singing happy birthday after touching each chip - we should be okay? I'm gonna take one for the team of tatters if I get ill I'll let you know & if I don't I will too. Seriously though I'm sure buisssness will be taking all the measures they can because the last thing they'd want to come out is that they have spread it to their customers and my place I get from is always really good too they have a 4.5 star rating ( trying to convince myself )

I posted the other day that I was staying with my boyfriend but had to leave soon as his housemates wouldn’t allow me to stay that long. Went to leave this morning but his housemate has came down with symptoms? They’re still insisting I leave but I’m trying to put my foot down. I know I’m not allowed to leave now and I definitely don’t want to go to my own home and possibly infect others on the way home and my family members. So frustrated as there’s nothing I can do if they make me leave??

Obviously it's better for everyone to self isolate together in this case. But if it's not your home & they really don't want you there I can't see any other options other than that. That sucks though
