The headline is misleading.
Doesn't mention hes vulnerable.
But it does raise worries for cev double jabbed people.
We don't know when he had his jabs or which vaccine he had.
Maybe he failed gain decent immunity from the vaccine some do particularly is they immunosuppressed.

I have literally posted where it says he was vulnerable. you don't even have to look hard for it like most covid deaths

Don't rely on media to give you anything more than something to scare you with. They will never give the true picture with true facts.

Did you read the post properly? 🧐
Yes. The longer people leave it to live normal life, the harder it will get for them. People are already really used to living differently and being told what to do more. I think it's fantastic for businesses getting to operate again as they were built to and that so many people who have really suffered are getting back out there and not worrying about what might happen. Another drop in infections today as well so much more to be happy about.

So to hear about your friend, I am older then your friend, unvaccinated and just recovering from covid with no complication. Hopefully you can find some comfort in that.
I wonder how many unvaccinated do make fully recoveries, because it’s never talked about. We only hear if the ones that die, and yes it puts the fear in all of us, myself included.
I’ve had Covid unvaccinated and I am perfectly fine too

I had my first vaccine yesterday Pfizer and my heart rate is through the roof. I went to a and e last night as I felt dizzy and spend eight hours there I hope it doesn’t cause permanent damage as I have sinus tachycardia and put off getting the vaccine for a long time it’s too late now but I have to say I feel awful. I hope it’s all anxiety related.
Sorry you are feeling unwell, anxiety can cause you to feel a manner of things such as dizziness and increased heart rate. If you are concerned, call your GP. Hope you feel better soon.

Don't be shy on sharing your feelings 😂

The scientists and doctors that were banned did try saying this at the start, and even Vallance or Whitty mentioned it whilst saying it was a risk worth taking.
Maybe they'll advocate for the pointless rule that is mandatory vaccination and domestic passports now, and the incredibly intelligent scientists and doctors will be allowed their jobs and reputation back
Well I think something will have to give. I don’t think it’s realistic to expect people to have never ending shots to keep these variants at bay while the government sit back and do nothing at the borders 🤷🏼‍♀️

Last summer we had far more rules and the Kent variant wasn't anywhere near as infectious as the Indian one is. We have to hope we don't get another variant that spreads even quicker or restrictions will return. Plans are already in place for them.

At this time last year the only difference we had was clubs were still shut, everything else was the same, bar some places up north who were hit with a local lockdown

I called restrictions coming in September a while back, you can literally predict everything, and have been able to do for around a year

Would you be able to share a few examples? I've seen you refer to these images quite a few times but I'm not sure if I've actually seem them (or if I have I don't remember). I agree it's not unheard of for images to be used inappropriately or taken out of context (by both mainstream and nonmainstream media).
It's here. After the NYT got busted by the Eagle Eye public they retracted the pictures.
Problem is BBC, itv, sky, you name it had already shared it so the damage via propaganda was done

I am having my vaccine tomorrow after putting it off due to undiagnosed health issues. I am really nervous to be honest but I know it is likely better than getting covid with my undiagnosed health issues. Currently waiting to get a brain MRI.

Some journalism is very good and does a good job of explaining concepts that can be tricky to understand. Other journalism is sensationalist trash.
Yes, the photos and footage from China and India as two good examples shown on and in all MS newspapers and TV news.

I now follow a few journalists who have left MSM because of the propaganda

Genius! Under 25s are at a greater risk of myocarditis, so let's jab them and send them off to dance, drink and get hot at sweaty and raise their BP and pulse.
Seems perfectly safe when after everyone's jab they tell you to go home, rest, drink water and to leave or limit alcohol for a day or 2.
What could possibly go wrong!
Shocking isn't it , I hope the vaccinators are still on the scene for a while after and not like the usual conveyor belts like they have here ,people could be having a reaction and others would think they're drunk

Thank you. I hadn't seen this. Very irresponsible journalism! I note that 2 days after the NYT article the BBC wrote about this misinformation. I haven't found where the BBC shared the photo themselves (maybe they did and I've missed it or it's been retracted, maybe there's an archive link somewhere?).

I'm sure it's partly this, but not entirely. For example, I am very much pro-vaccination but I don't think all of these articles about unvaccinated individuals who are hospitalised with covid/died from it and now wish they'd been vaccinated are useful at all. What is far more useful are the total numbers of vaccinated vs unvaccinated hospitalisations and deaths, and I wish more emphasis was placed on this.
I did say probably a case not entirely a case. I wish they would put out completely transparent data. My 36 year old cousin has never been included as a stat shared publicly far and wide or a media report after he had a rare adverse reaction to his second vaccine giving him heart failure with his heart operating at 15%. He’s now in recovery on meds the rest of his life, all because he took a vaccine to go on holiday. The consultant has confirmed its linked to the vaccine. His case may not be common, but it happened to him. People need to be aware of these risks and maybe then it would help squash conspiracy theories, there’s never any negative press about the vaccine because they want people to take it and that adds to people who don’t want to take its hesitancy because they feel they’re being withheld some information.

Does anyone really think that if this was all that bad that they would honestly risk the health of the future King and his family, regardless of being vaccinated?

Same happened at the G7 summit, all of the leaders were allowed right up to The Queen with no quarantine at all.
Don't give me the "they were all tested" spiel, because we know how inaccurate LFT tests are, and we know you can be negative one day and positive the next, so still potentially infectious before that positive test.

In theory we can't continue without world leaders, but they seem to be able to risk their health and their colleagues health, and royalties health.

The ordinary joe though has to spunk over 2k to stay at the governments quarantine hotels or fly home early to avoid that cost, meaning they lose the money they've spent on that holiday because they're just so dirty and dangerous to society, again, regardless of vaccination status and testing.

These ministers are still mixing with the public and media, so no one can argue that they aren't as much risk - everyone they mix with all have families and kids who work and socialise, so able to spread their germs into a community.
Their germs aren't as dirty as ours though!

Infections haven't been broken because it's the school holidays, it's that parents aren't testing all the time. There is still absolutely no need imo to vaccinate anyone of school age as we have herd immunity with the figures they give us, but that's an argument for another thread
I have gone the whole pandemic without knowing anyone who has had covid. Now myself and my family has, my neighbours, my work colleagues. I am not convinced we are in a decline. It seems to be worse out there right now then this time last year. This is including double vaccinated people catching it and being hit hard too. Vaccines are not a protector.

So there’s an even more stronger case for people to follow the guidelines. Officials included,

I agree with that.

I don't agree that we were sold the jab as a magic bullet to prevent any deaths as the other poster stated.
I think it's up to individual interpretation ! not that long ago Boris announced to the commons that because of the vaccine programme the risk of severe disease and death had been SEVERED some would take that to mean the vaccines were invincible depending on how that message came across to them 🤷‍♀️

This is exactly what happened to my daughter as well! We have no idea if the rest of us have had it or not?!

My daughter went to a birthday party last week and and all the adults and children have since caught covid and we are the only ones that didn’t 👀
My BiL owns a business that both my sister and my brother work in, literally everyone got covid except my siblings and my 2 nieces didn't get it either. I think some people are just naturally immune

New to this thread, have recently tested positive for covid had to cut our family holiday short, loss of taste and smell bad flu symptoms )I’ve had vaccine) can anyone that’s had covid tell me when they started to feel better? I’m so tired I have asthma and everything I do is making me feel out of breath ☹ Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I’m a 31 year old mum of two and me and my partner both have it so pretty tough atm with kids in the house.

It's a good job people are spending more time at home from not being at work, school, college etc and spending family time on holidays. September/October has to be making Boris nervous because if these are the infections in a warm summer with places shut and people staying more away from others. Then when we head to the colder weather in Autumn and education settings are all back open and more adults are expected back to the office what's it going to look like?

Easy for me to say but please try not to worry. Covid if it hasn't already will find us all at some point. If someone manages to forever avoid covid they should buy a Lotto ticket because they would be very lucky. Order a box of LFTs on the NHS website so you can quickly put your mind at ease whenever you want. I think it's great you were out and about and I am happy for you that after so long away from something you enjoy you were back doing it :)

Kebabs for jabs is stupid. The government want us to protect the NHS and eat better and then they try and bribe people with unhealthy food by doing deals with companies that sell junk food. At least if you want to bribe young people do it with healthy things like gym memberships.
Honestly... having thought about it last night and today, I would go play again. I've gone over 18 months without playing sport to protect everyone around me and the kids I coach. Just seems typical to me 🤣

I've got a box of LFT and will be taking one every day just so I can feel comfortable going out and about still without feeling guilty or that I could be passing it onto someone without realising it!
