Some of the protest movement has been infiltrated to make people look like morons. That way genuine people with reasonable objections can also be made to look idiotic. That has always happened at any protest. Decent people then have their voice tarnished.
Exactly. Also not everyone who protests and not everyone who declines a vaccine would accept being called an “anti vaxxer” for declining one vaccination on the schedule.

I think aswell that because the population is being categorised into 2 groups I.e vaccinated and unvaccinated it somehow translates to others that everyone who declines a vaccine is somehow a conspiracy theorist tin foil hat nutter. That’s simply not true it’s an attempt to discredit people who make a choice for themselves.

Ive witnessed a fair few vaccinated folk ditch their mask and not wash their hands entering shops etc anymore as if they’re under the illusion that their vaccine is a coat of arms - does this make me assume that all vaccinated people do this? No, because they don’t and you can’t judge an entire group of people based on the fact they came to the same decision on a choice about being offered a medication.

Does anyone really think that if this was all that bad that they would honestly risk the health of the future King and his family, regardless of being vaccinated?

Same happened at the G7 summit, all of the leaders were allowed right up to The Queen with no quarantine at all.
Don't give me the "they were all tested" spiel, because we know how inaccurate LFT tests are, and we know you can be negative one day and positive the next, so still potentially infectious before that positive test.

In theory we can't continue without world leaders, but they seem to be able to risk their health and their colleagues health, and royalties health.

The ordinary joe though has to spunk over 2k to stay at the governments quarantine hotels or fly home early to avoid that cost, meaning they lose the money they've spent on that holiday because they're just so dirty and dangerous to society, again, regardless of vaccination status and testing.

These ministers are still mixing with the public and media, so no one can argue that they aren't as much risk - everyone they mix with all have families and kids who work and socialise, so able to spread their germs into a community.
Their germs aren't as dirty as ours though!

Infections haven't been broken because it's the school holidays, it's that parents aren't testing all the time. There is still absolutely no need imo to vaccinate anyone of school age as we have herd immunity with the figures they give us, but that's an argument for another thread
Double vaccinated Sharma meets double vaccinated Charles. They are far enough away from each other in the photo and both probably took a PCR test before meeting up to make sure. This isn't the conspiracy thread.

Boris is clearly worried as he knows Rishi will be the next Tory leader. What we wouldn't give for that to be now. A man who wants society more open than it is and to bring back foreign travel so it's far more easier and less of a stress for people with covid still around. Rishi knows more than Boris we have to learn to live with it and get back to true normal.

It makes me so angry that everyone is now saying “we’ll the double jabbed who have died had underlying health conditions”. This was never suppose to happen we were told that it would protect the vulnerable. The vaccine doesn’t seem to be working as well as they though it would look at Israel.

I haven’t read the whole thread and I’m relatively new here but I would say, if you are pinged or contacted by Test and Trace please do isolate and for the entirety.

I‘ve ran too many codes and called TOD on too many people that I couldn’t stand 1 more death that can be avoided, happening.
The main thrust of the question was what happens to self-isolations still under way when it gets to the date that no new self-isolations will be required.
(and specifically for one or more questioners, being double jabbed and only two days short of their end date)

32 million boosters by early December so it's given those who have it last a few weeks for protection to get to full before Christmas Day is a mad timetable and credit to everyone involved in making it happen. We must have enough Pfizer and expected more vaccines to be approved (Valneva) for it to happen without AZ being given. If they jab school children as well that would take a lot of manpower.
I was a vaccine volunteer at my local hospital for 7 months and I’m sure we will all be ready to step up again if necessary

They didn’t always make the message clear a lot of people still believe their life will return to normal once they get jabbed.
Yes the narrative has changed a fair bit over the last 6mths. All they do is confuse people.

Just dropping in here to say that Mr Happy took part in trials for people who could have had Covid without any symptoms. He sent off his blood sample and had an email today which confirmed that he HAD C19 in the last six months. 😱

No symptoms, no idea, living with me, getting on with life, perhaps I had it too. 😳😱
This is exactly what happened to my daughter as well! We have no idea if the rest of us have had it or not?!

My daughter went to a birthday party last week and and all the adults and children have since caught covid and we are the only ones that didn’t 👀

It's proven that the vaccine reduces transmission, and results in a less severe illness... Maybe your colleague has underlying conditions. I don't think that people should be forced to have the vaccine, BUT if none of us had it we'd be stuck in lockdown still wouldn't we. Personally, I couldn't wait to get it. Especially mixing on corridors with 1500 kids a day, all day as I move classrooms...
No, a very fit individual with no currently known issues. It came as a surprise for her to a) catch it and b) struggle as much as she did.
I am not going to debate facts with you or anyone else, but only because there are various different reports stating different things at the moment and I sense we are looking at different things and I don’t perceive myself as being right or wrong at this moment in time, or yourself either.
And that in itself is the problem, the mixed messages and information, distrust and a lack of transparency.

well that’s interesting because the governments website updated today at 4pm states 88% have had one dose, 74% two doses (fully vaccinated).

Yes... as I said, around 90% have had at least one vaccine dose. Glad we can agree on that at least.

This is where I got my info from:
