Claire did not buy into the salon. She was due to pay a lump sum after 12 months as she didn't have the initial capital. After the 12 months she would have been part owner and would receive a percentage of the profits as well as her managers salary. Correct. And on the 6th of January Denise called a meeting with Claire after several suppliers cancelled orders due to direct debits not being paid. There was no lodgements being made regularly into the bank in December: Claire was not reccy-ing the end of day/week/month and instead keep putting (dumping) money into the safe without totalling the end of day. A wig company had refused to deliver that Day, jan 6th & Denise wanted to meet Claire to talk it through. Denise wasn’t going to fire her as Denise was kicking herself for allowing it to get so sloppy but salons in December are crazy & Denise wasn’t aware until the shit hit the fan. Claire then tried to get leaving €€ off Denise but she didn’t get it as she was the one who walked.

I have never ever seen anyone as petty, nasty and a bigger bully on insta than Claire balding she’s sooooo aggressive could you imagine the conversation that had to have been had by Denise I mean Pelo is her baby her name, Claire sitting feet up sipping on a can of Heineken on a Saturday in the salon... Na Mate!!! She’s never promoted that salon the way she did her live shows or the tv show (thank fuck that pile of rubbish was cancelled). And now Trua hasn’t even opened it’s doors and already her mouth is running away with her and putting down other businesses, people won’t go to her she’s so fake coming on all smiles on Trua and than telling people to fuck off from her own page for asking questions... and don’t get me started on that manky skin tag nobody needed or wanted to see that.

I thing I like about Claire is she’s not like all the rest with hundreds of ads and getting paid loads to throw up a post. But I don’t like how she seems to complain about her parents a lot she’s lucky both her parents are still around but she complains all the time especially about her mum. It’s awful.

Could you imagine her promoting a business she’d be dreadful Claire only likes to promote Claire

Not to derail this thread any further, I have to say I've been going to Denise/ Pelo to get my hair done for nearly 4 years, I used to travel down to Newbridge especially from Dublin. I think she is a brilliant hairdresser - she has that passion for hair that you just don't get in too many places - and all the staff in Newbridge have been around for years. As far as I can see, she is very supportive towards her team (sending them on training, encouraging them to enter creative competitions, allowing them to specialise and upskill in areas they are interested in) and I've always found the atmosphere in salon to be pleasant. She is a very clever businesswoman but she has built her business up from scratch. A couple of years ago she and her husband were working two jobs each to pay for IVF. Now whilst she has made some questionable decisions in my opinion (i.e. most of the Voduz influencers, going into business with Claire, putting her little lady so front and centre on Insta), you cannot take that she has worked so hard. She doesn't need to be all pally with other hairdressers on Instagram, I wouldn't hold that against her. I don't know her personally outside of the salon but more power to her I think and I wish her continued success.

I actually think it shows Claire lack of integrity the fact she has preached certain products for years and credited them for everything, called anything else cheap puke and is now selling pure and utter shit, that had nothing to do with her hair journey to vulnerable people losing their hair!

She had always said she'd do it for free but instead she's acting like Del Boy.
None of that stuff played any part in her own "recovery"

No chance. Clare was completely knocking her pan in on a daily basis not seeing her children and family whilst Denise was selling products in Clare’s name! Clare was probably seeing what was going out in sales of hair products and thinking what the actual fuck! I think she is going through a bit of a tough time at the minute, you can tell from her stories. She looked so happy in her wedding pics but that happiness seems to have disappeared.
No one knows what is going on, maybe she drinks to forget stuff, maybe she wears the same jumper alot because she isn't overly confident in her body and the jumper offers her comfort.
The only thing that really annoys me about her is her lack of drive, ambition and excitement about her new business. I hope she cops on and puts more energy into it.

I'm effin ragin and ashamed all at once , I was "influenced"(I know ,I know) and ordered paint from carlow paint hub, waited 2 weeks for it to be delivered , ran out of paint , had to wait another 2 weeks to get more. I actually feel a little sad for her after watching her wedding story both her and Ian looked amazing, her saying life’s been shit since then she said I don’t like attention people looking at me yet shares her inner most thoughts, worst days with 65,000 people she’s either a liar and loves attention really or she really isn’t associating her misery to the fact she over shares online day in day out and for what Its her personal page that drags her business down the constant negativity and mocking her followers/potential clients. To renovate a small space like a pop up shop but yet she doesn't want a small builder that normally does extensions.
If she wants a small space made smaller I doubt if a domestic builder would touch it let alone a commercial one.

God the episodes were endless but I was kind of reluctant to get into it because to be fair it was years ago. Some of the more noteable incidents were taking money from charity collections, lying about various ailments she had. I remember in 6th year she had broken fingers on one hand and in a cast. She told everyone she slammed her hand in the door to break her fingers so she wouldn’t have to sit her mocks. Mad shit.

it all came to a head when she started telling people she had cancer. That went on for a few months until one of her friends mothers rang her mother to ask what they could do and of course Claire’s mother had no idea what she was talking about. I think this episode was actually spoken about on one of the it galz podcast episodes in passing. They spoke about a friend of theirs who had a compulsion to lie and it got to such sinister levels the friend group had an intervention.

Though if social media has taught me anything its that I had such different taste to the majority of society tbh!
I can't understand this need to all be the same as each other, grey/silver/velvet/ everyone having the exact same cluster prints, same cushions, flooring, plants etc. Nobody has originality anymore so much as I dispair for Claire in a lot of ways, I admire her having her own taste.
